About this cottage rental
The Casanova is located in the neighborhood of Beuda (region of La Garrotxa); at the foot of the mountain of "La Mare de Déu del Mont" on its southern side; in an area of gypsum and alabaster extraction; at 300 m. from the town of Beuda; 5 km from Besalú; and in the vicinity of important churches and Romanesque hermitages. The house stands out at first sight for its blue color. The Casanova was built at the beginning of the 20th century, in the year 1921. Recently, it has been restored in stone and wood, following the original model and the local architectural tradition; and respecting same, the pre-existing colors to its restoration. The house, the garden breathe a climate of calm and tranquility; being -with the harmony of its interior and exterior spaces- an ideal place for calm and rest. Itineraries on foot and by bicycle. Native flora and fauna. Organic garden space of the house. Right next to and completely independent there is a small restored old house that is our cabin, it has two rooms (one double and another triple), living room with biomass heating, on the ground floor is the kitchen, the bathroom and a small living room -dining room with fireplace, with private outdoor garden area.

Hem disfrutat moltíssim de la casa i l'entorn. La casa és molt àmplia i còmoda. També té molt terreny. La Montserrat una mestressa fantàstica. Recomenable 100%.

Hemos estado en familia durante la última semana de Agosto en la Cabaña de la Casanova y ha sido una delicia. La mejor casa rural de unas 20 en las que hemos estado. Después de organizar a diario salidas a poblaciones más o menos lejanas, descubres al final que donde se descansa y se goza de verdad es disfrutando de la paz en esta casa y del maravilloso entorno. La próxima vez no caeré en el error del viaje a ninguna parte, cuando el universo entero cabe en esta tranquilidad campestre. La casa es la representación viva de su dueña, Montserrat: Entrañable, luminosa, auténtica ....Los hogares los habitan los dioses lares: Ningunos tan benignos cómo los que aquí se presienten.

Hemos pasado 2 semanas encantadoras en La Casanova o “la casita azul” como le dice mi hija.
La casa es amplia, limpia y muy bien equipada, con unas vistas fantásticas.
El entorno inigualable, tranquilo, acogedor. Dan ganas de quedarse más días.
Toda mi familia y yo gradecemos con cariño a la Montse sus cuidados y atenciones.
