About this apartment rental
Our 90 m2 apartment is spacious, decorated in warm colors and is very open with its high, sloping ceiling. On the 15 m2 large veranda there is a 6-seat dining table, and enough space to read on the recliner. The view upon your own garden seats with pool and exotic flora invites you to swim or just relax. The living room has an integrated, well-equipped kitchen with a round, the insert at two windows dining table. The stereo and the TV set have a satellite antenna with English, German and Swiss programs. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are stable with orthopedic mattress and the fitted wardrobes, there is plenty of room to stow everything they need. The terracotta tiles are decorated in warm yellow, the cabinets cherry wood color. Cleaning & linen change 1x per week are free. Only beach towels must be brought along.

Paphos Aphrodite Festival: Remember: every year in early September will be held the world-renowned special occasion, the Paphos Aphrodite Festival. This is the opera-open-air performance in the harbor of Paphos. The picturesque setting of the Paphos Castle is inimitable and opera singers like orchestra of excellent quality - a major highlight in our beautiful city!

Very nice appartment and good beds. Gabi and Nicolas are very kind owners and they helped us with small problems. The water was smelling but after a few days this problem was solved. The swimmingpool is small but as there are only two apartments it is big enough and the nice beach Coral Bay is nearby. Cyprus is nice and affordable.

Diese 2 Wochen Urlaub bei Gabi und Nicolas waren rundherum optimal und erholsam.
Angefangen bei der Buchung im Internet, es hat alles wunderbar geklappt und unsere Fragen wurden immer schnell beantwortet.
Die Anfahrt mit dem Mietwagen war dank der guten Wegbeschreibung problemlos und als wir in die Wohnung kamen, waren wir trotz der guten Darstellung auf ihrer Homepage sehr überrascht und fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl, es war wie ein zweites Zuhause.
Diese Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, vom Autoabstellplatz bis Zypernlektüre- landkarten und reiseführer, mit vielen Schränken sogar im Bad, die Küchenausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und nicht zu vergessen, das reichhaltige Lebensmittelpaket für den Anfang...
Das Frühstück auf dem großen Balkon war der ideale Start in den Tag, die Brötchen und sonstiges dazu gab es im nahegelegenen Supermarkt.
Gute Tips und die Beantwortung unserer Fragen waren natürlich selbstverständlich.
Die ruhiggelegene Wohnung war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die Ausflüge zu den Ausgrabungen (u.a. mit den schönen Mosaiken) in Paphos, nach Polis, zum Wandern ins Trodosgebirge und zum Schwimmen im klaren, sauberen und warmen Wasser der Coral Bay.
Ein Mietwagen ist (trotz Linksverkehr, das kein großes Problem war) sehr zu empfehlen.
Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub (leider viel zu kurz) auf der schönen und sehr sauberen Insel Zypern, von der wir sehr überrascht, weil so nicht erwartet, waren.
Da wir noch längst nicht alles gesehen und erwandert haben, bleibt uns eigentlich nichts anderes übrig, als wiederzukommen, natürlich wieder zu Gabi und Nicolas........

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Beschreibung von unseren Vermietern erhalten und haben unser Feriendomizil somit auch gut gefunden. Ganz herzlich wurden wir empfangen!
Die Ferienwohnungen, die wir mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar gemietet hatten, sind sehr großzügig, schön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Wir hatten einen separaten Eingang und waren somit auch ungestört. Auf unserem großen Balkon haben wir das Frühstück bei herrlich warmen Temperaturen genossen. Ca. 150 m von der Wohnung entfernt ist ein schöner Supermarkt, in dem man zu normalen Preisen fast alles kaufen kann.
Empfehlenswert ist es, einen Mietwagen zu haben, somit ist man auch flexibler und kann auf eigene Faust die Insel erkunden oder zu den Stränden fahren.
Der Strand am Ort von Kisonerga hat uns nicht gefallen. Aber war haben von Kisonerga etwa 5 km entfernt in Coral Bay unsere Badebucht mit herrlichem Sandstrand und keinen Steinen im Wasser gefunden. Für uns war ganz wichtig, dass der Strand bewirtschaftet ist mit Sonnenschirmen und Liegestühlen.
Außerdem gibt es sehr viele Restaurants in Coral Bay. Das Essensangebot ist vielfälltig und geschmacklich auch sehr gut!
Die Temperaturen im September waren bei ca. 40 Grad in der Sonne und im Schatten hatten wir ca. 33 Grad. Die Wassertemperatur lag bei 28 Grad, wie in der Badewanne.
Wir wurden von unseren Vermietern gut betreut und versorgt mit einem Begrüßungspaket und können dieses Feriendomizil wirklich fremden Personen und auch unseren Freunden jederzeit empfehlen.

Was sollen wir noch sagen. Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal von Dezember 2009 bis Ende Februar 2010 bei Gabi und Nicolas. Und auch diesmal waren wir wieder rundherum zufrieden und glücklich. Es war wieder alles in Ordnung und und selbst das Wetter hat so ziemlich mitgespielt. Wir haben uns nicht gelangweilt und haben wieder viel unternommen und konnten so Zypern ziemlich gut kennen lernen.
Selbst der Karneval hat uns nicht gefehlt da dieser auch in Pafos stattgefunden hat.
Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal in Kissonerga.
