Antonio thank you. You were very easy to deal with and a perfect host. The property was better than the photos, clean, large and the view postcard perfect. With a full view of the town, beach, ocean, harbour and hill it is one of the best. The stairs yes, there are 120 but it is not a straight up vertical climb, it zig-zags and there are little flat sections where you can catch your breath/rest and look back at the amazing view, if you are struggling take it slow, I managed it easily with a knee replacement two years old. In general, the stairs are no worse than anywhere else in Italy ie., Bellagio, Rome etc. The view and apartment make it all worth the effort and you get to work off those great Italian dinners and lunches. Antonio provided an excellent self-serve Breakfast in the cupboard, toast, croissants and coffee and he gave us the name of a little supermarket in town. For Coffee lovers, at the bottom of the staircase past the small pizza place is a lovely little coffee bar that is open every morning early if you want a fresh coffee and pastry. Beautiful Accommodation.
We understood there was no air-conditioning and were ok with that under normal circumstances, however with temperatures reaching over 36 degrees during our stay, it was difficult to sleep in the front bedroom. The back room with the fan on was the best place to sleep, nice and cool. On our last night we realised that to sleep comfortably in the front bedroom you must close the windows (stops street noise) and close the shutters (darkens the room) and turn fan on and it became like a beautiful quiet cool room. Shame we discovered this on the last night. Next time we will sleep in the back room if only two of us stay, otherwise if four then the above instructions in the heat of summer should be adhered to.

It is locating very close to the ferry boats’ pierce, 5 minutes walk distance to downtown’s main street. It is very nice apartment, with all major amenities, two bathrooms and nice balconies with astonishing view. Dr. Antonio, owner of the apartment met us personally at the pierce, was very attentive and provided us necessary information that we need about Amalfi.
We likes everything about this apartment.

Good location, lots of space, good facility, washing machine for clothes.. some basic stuff for breakfast. Nice wiew.
Quite long way (stairs) from Car park. Expensive car park (40€/night) Lot's of stairs for city.
