Solo Suites is a perfect place to stay to visit Langford and can meet the needs of singles to a larger family group.

It was impeccably clean, modern, well furnished and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was located two blocks from everything that I was interested in doing.

I prefer fitted sheets to flat sheets over the mattress.

Location is terrific. The rooms are large and comfortable. I love have a kitchen in the unit.

The door lock code didn't work. I was the one who found out. Finally I got a key and everything was great.

Very positive stay - clean apartment with friendly staff and lots of free parking

Location perfect for access to bike paths and walk to good restaurants/shops. Feels like an apartment vs hotel - kitchen is useful and fully stocked. Bed was comfy. Balcony with chairs was nice as well a roof top area for BBQ use. Good A/C & WiFi> There was even a washing machine but I didn't use it. Lots of parking and grounds were spotless. The very best is the staff! Unbelievable experience with both Xavier & Arpan at reception. Had a hiccup in reservation and Xavier solved it immediately beyond our expectations. No hesitation to recommend Solo Suites! You can truly rest easy here knowing you're in a clean, safe space with friendly helpful staff who go above and beyond!!

Apartment living for a reasonable price, bring something to blackout the windows.

Basically an apartment; excellent amenities and space. Parking and check-in was easy, staff was available during business hours to help with e.g. extra towels or a trash bag. Having a separate bedroom for the kids was wonderful. WiFi and smart TV were great when they worked.

The main door to the room and the patio door are both frosted glass; together with the large window the room was bright and well lit during the day, but unfortunately also bright and well lit during the night. Especially during the summer I imagine, but even the artificial lighting outside made it tough to sleep in the living room bed. Bring some blackout vinyl or something to cover the windows though and you're good to go. Fair bit of traffic noise during the day but quiet at night (not really an issue for us but if you're extra sensitive to noise).

Excellent staff. Very comfortable, well equipped and secure.

The rooms are very spacious, very clean and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. In terms of location, there are loads of restaurants, shops and some entertainment. The apartment building and parking are secure. We had no problem finding a spot. The staff are very, very efficient, friendly and hospitable.

The only downside, and it wasn't terrible, but noticeable, is a bit of noise from the street traffic.

A last minute place to stay but our unit was odd. Super nice man at reception.

We booked last minute and had a dog, so our choices were a bit limited. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Sort of a strange set up. Our bed faced an entire bank of kitchen cabinets, complete with dishwasher, 3/4 size refridgerator and washing machine, however, there was 1 fork, no sharp knives no napkins or paper towels. There was a couch but no table to eat on, or even a coffee table to put plates on. They advertise having a kitchen, but what's the point if there is no cutlery or table to eat on.

The property was an excellent choice for my requirements.

I booked this stay due to the amenities in the room. Everything was provided to cook my own meals - all cookware , dishes and tabs for dishwasher. I liked that laundry was available in room ( pods included ). I also was pleased with the patio and furniture provided to enjoy the outdoors .

There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like .

Very traumatizing. This hotel should have solid doors, an extra room bolt, and land line phones!

Location was good for getting around. Liked the fully equipped kitchen. Staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Security is a huge problem for all of the Solo suite rooms. We were surprised that the room doors are full panel glass. It was very difficult to get the number pad entry to cooperate. I have used them at other hotels and they open on the first try. When inside the room we went to use the second bolt (found in all hotels we have been in) and there wasn't one. We had a room on the first floor. Shortly after midnight, 2 people tried to enter our room. We yelled wrong room many times. They left and came back again 5 minutes later. We again yelled at them but they persisted for several minutes punching the number pad and trying the handle to enter. Police were called via cell phone as the hotel did not provide a land line phone in the room. I was shocked at this as not everyone has a cell phone. We were informed by police that it was likely homeless people.

I would stay here again.

Location was perfect for our purpose and was more cost effective than hotels in the same area; as well as allowing pets! This was huge for us. The pet supplement was reasonable and less than a kennel.

Mattress was hard and lumpy, but I suppose this is personal preference. Children staying in another room were loud and playing “nicky nicky nine door”; and at night there was really no one to “complain” to… and no adult supervision of the children.

Short and sweet

I liked everything about it. It was spacious, it was ultra clean, had all the comfort of my own condo. The staff was very friendly and had free safe parking for my car and my pooch was well welcomed. Will def stay again if coming to Victoria.

If I had to say anything would be how far it is from city centre but with a vehicle you’re just fine.

we did enjoy our stay, but the price was a bit much

I liked the location, cleanliness, and very easy to just call to get help. I loved having a balcony and having a fridge, stove, and dishwasher was amazing. Not sure how I missed this information in my booking, I would have planned meals better. We were super happy with the flooring instead of carpet as we did have our 97lb dog with us, he loved having his dog bed beside the balcony.

Way too much light coming in the main door, we had to use the sofa cushions as a barricade to the light, otherwise we would not have gotten any sleep

We absolutely loved our Stay,that the staff was amazing & so helpful, & also let us extend our morning because we had a late start.

The bed was a bit hard so we bought a little mattress topper & also an extra blankets for our child to sleep on the couch.
