El Refugio de San Matías

La ubicación es excelente, hay restaurantes cerca y a buena distancia de lugares turísticos . La habitación tiene secadora y lo necesario para una breve estancia. El contacto vía WhatsApp es bueno y responden rápido.

Las instalaciones un poco viejas pero bien cuidadas. El lugar tiene una cocinera común y la cafetera está ahí. No hay este servicio en el cuarto. El primer día no tuvimos agua caliente para bañarnos por un problema en el boiler .

Good communication with hosts, very clean property. It comes with a small kitchen and a terrace, perfect for breakfast. The location is 15min uphill from the city center, which we loved because it’s quiet. Rooms are cleaned every day which is a luxury!

The entrance might be hard to miss.

Good location, very cheap, same day booking and checking in. The drinking water was completely emptied when we checked in so we had to go out at late in the night to buy water, but the staff were responding on whatsapp when we told them the next morning, and replace it the afternoon. Overall, good for short notice stay and for saving money, but I won't choose here for a well-planned vacation.

The lock of the guest room was very difficult to use, and didn't look reliable at all. The couch was soaked with cleaning product when we moved in (probably due to we book the stay at the same day). So you either have to sit on the bed or prepare to get your pants soaked. The table inside the room was super small so it's inconvenient to eat take out food. One of the soap dispensers in the bathroom was broken and kept falling off. Something wrong with the sheet or blanket that one day I woke up at night due to being extremely itchy. Also, don't expect too much from the kitchenette, it's basically just a shared fridge, sink, and microwave. I doubt their small electric stove would be practical but we didn't try.
