Residence Inn by Marriott Toulouse-Blagnac

Very good studio type room with excellent bedding, fully equipped kitchenette, shower and bath (I needed to insist as I had paid for this) and silent airconditioning. Clean, comfortable, small but refreshing pool in times of summer heat, small but effective workout room, laundry room. Most staff were really friendly and very helpful.

Food & beverage: the only real disappointment was the unexpected closure of the hotel bar and restaurant. This was never advertised before booking our stay between 30 July and 7 August and not even announced upon arrival when only the standard closure over the weekend was mentioned. We only found out through a sudden, little announcement in the elevator on the evening of Friday 31. By that time we had checked in and our payment had become non-reimbursable. A side effect was furthermore a rather limited and dull breakfast. Had the management been honest and transparent about summer closure, we might have considered other options for the inability to order food or get a drink at the bar cancels an important part of the reason for staying in a hotel. Especially also in view of my second observation below about the location. (To be fair, there were some snacks and cold drinks for sale at the reception and there was free coffee - but these items failed to make up for the somewhat uncomfortable feeling caused by the lack of transparency). Location: located in the airport and aerospace area, customers throughout the year will stay here to be close. In summer season the area is rather desolate with restaurants closing for August. So the pool and airconditioning are excellent but to go out, you need to be downtown.

Modern hotel which present the benefit of being close to airport as well as being located in the Blagnac city center, at walking distance of some restaurants, cafes, bakery, etc... (Blagnac does not have much charm but at least the location offers convenience). The rooms are actually studios equipped with kitchenette, which is convenient for long stays. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We had also 2 communicating rooms which is very convenient for a family. There is also a swimming pool and a sauna, though we did not try.

This is a modern, practical and well equipped hotel but lack a bit of charm...can't have everything at this price !

We asked for a quiet room and our room was next to the main road. Breakfast was very poor.We came down around 9am only to find hardly anything left.the hot food looked disgusting. We self catered for dinner for a couple of night s and thought we would try the hotel restuarant on Saturday night only to find its closed at weekends.What a joke
