Vista De La Luz is an extraordinary 6 bedroom, 9 bath modern villa. Direct access to the Bay of Cancun, a 17-meter suspended infinity pool, a private dock and palapa, open views of the Bay of Cancun, and the lights of Cancun across the water.
The house sits on a hillside with four levels. Two queen suites sit on the top level with private terraces. The street-level entrance has an onyx bar, a king room, and a two-queen room. One flight down: kitchen, living, dining, the pool, and the Studio (two doubles plus an optional trundle). A gourmet kitchen and spacious living area encompass the bottom floor of the main villa opening onto a 17 meter suspended pool with its water flowing over an infinity edge, seemingly into the Caribbean below. The pool house under the pool is a separate king suite with a living area and ensuite bath. Sleeps 12 in the base rate.
A small sandy beach, a dock and stairs lead into clear, waist-deep water. Playa Norte is about 10 minutes by golf cart.
Friendly local staff are on site Monday through Saturday, 8:30am to 2:30pm, for a home-cooked breakfast and a full house clean. No staff on Sunday. We meet you at the villa upon arrival. Golf carts, a private chef, airport transfer, snorkel, and massages are easy to arrange.

We stayed at Visa De La Luz for 5 days with a total of 3 families and it was an incredible time! We were taken care of very well and totally impressed by the staff. The breakfast was listed at continental, but was a full service breakfast every morning and was very good! The staff also cleaned each day, which included taking the trash out, tiding up the bedrooms and common areas. We definitely would recommend and will more than likely return!

Vista de la Luz was a wonderful place to stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the access to the ocean was perfect for our adventure loving kids. We spent most of our time at the pool enjoying the view! The staff is amazing and Gabriel is there to help with anything you need. We loved the fact that each morning the staff was there to greet us with a fresh breakfast and they kept the house together and clean so we could enjoy our vacation. Gabriel is more than willing to help you with anything you may need at the house or on the island during your stay. Great job team! Hope to see you again

We traveled with 4 families (8 adults and 8 kids) and everyone had enough room. The house is absolutely spectacular! It’s in a great area of the island where the water always seemed calm despite the northern winds coming through. The water was crystal blue and everyone loved swimming off the dock and using Kin Ha’s super fun water activities. We plan on coming back to this house in the future for sure! We still cant believe how great it was to have Ruben, Victoria and the rest of the amazing staff there to help cook breakfast and keep the house looking neat and tidy! We were spoiled! Highly recommend!

Pros:
- Amazing house layout and spectacular views
- The beach club next door is a ton of fun and very convenient
- House staff very nice and served great breakfast
- HIGHLY recommend the chef services they suggest (the people that run the restaurant Fuego De Mar). They did a few amazing dinners for us.
Cons:
- Not the most helpful owners. Terse responses to questions leading up to the trip and zero contact made during the stay.
- A ton of things in house looks like they've needed repairs/upgrades for years. A few examples: dishwasher doesn't work and was disgusting when we moved in, some of the lights in the pool give you a small shock if you touch them, upstairs fountain is broke and has standing water in it
- Despite the daily cleaning there was a bad cockroach problem by the end of the week. Not sure if this is related to the demolition of the building going on next door or just a normal issue. Would recommend being very cautious about zip locking food etc.
Overall we had a ton of fun. The island in general is amazing and the house location/scenery was great, but it needs some real attention.
