About this chalet rental
Chalet for 4 people at IJmuiden aan Zee, in between Zandvoort, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar.
The campingsite our chalet is situated on, is located in the dune edge within walking distance of the 'IJmuiden aan Zee' beach and has been kept as car-free as possible.
Children can also enjoy playing on the grass or in the playground on site.
During the school holidays various activities are organized by a recreation team for large and small in the 'Praathuis' or outside.
On the days when the weather is not suitable for being outside, you can visit historical sites such as Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam close to 'Camping De Duindoorn'.
Cities that offer sufficient culture and entertainment to even the most demanding holidaymaker.
The park also received the golden key from the 'The Green Key'.
This is an international environmental award.
Skiing in the summer? That is possible at Snowplanet in Spaarnwoude.
Only 11 kilometers away you can show your skiing skills at minus 5 degrees Celsius on a 230-meter track. For more information and opening times, check out their website: www. snowplanet. NL
You can also play fantastic golf in Spaarnwouden.
On the largest golf course in Europe you can hit a ball on one of the 66 holes spread over 7 courses.

The bungalow was like described in the internet. It has enough space for a few days for four people. It is a little sad that we have to buy every spices for cooking and there are no pan lids. The Little garden is very nice to have a rest.

Besides the bathroom we had a good stay. 20 min. walk to the beach and close to Haarlem what was de main reason for visiting friends and family.

My friend and I rented this place as a base for cycling. Yes it’s in the dunes but it’s a bit further from the sea than you would expect (almost a mile). It’s in a gated camping area that has a nice store and restaurant with odd hours. Getting to and from from the airport was a little tricky but there is a bus stop right in front of the camp entrance. The same bus alternates - Be sure you take the one that terminates “an zee”. Overall a great place to stay. Getting to Amsterdam & Haarlem is super easy. Our hosts were very nice.
