What a great location. Accommodation is very well appointed with everything you need. Excellent walking access to all the essential facilities in the village. Try and travel light as there is a walk to the property along an uneven path which with heavy case will be a challenge.The hospitality and welcome from Catherine is exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.A great stay! Thank you!

Lovely place and very helpful host too. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the pool is a great feature to keep the kids happy whilst the adults relax and take in the view.Plenty of local activities, we did the Accrobranche (Go Ape) near Sarlat, the yellow canoes from Vitrac to Beynac and the quad safari over near Bergerac. All really good fun.Very unusual (and good) to have its own parking garage, albeit it’s up a narrow lane in a big car.Highly recommended and hope we will be back!Thanks to our host, Catherine!

The house was equally as good as the photographs suggested, if not better. The location really is excellent. A two-minute walk from the restaurants and shops of the village, including a kayak station, as well as a less than 10-minute walk up to the castle. However, because the house is situated above the Main Street, and looking out to amazing views, you feel detached from the hubbub below and can enjoy peace at all times of the day. It was very hot when we stayed, hitting 40 Celsius, but the house stayed cool, with a/c benefitting in the bedrooms, and the pool was of course a great asset. Having convenient and free parking was also helpful.

Lovely owner, great communication, met us at the bottom of the hill to guide us to the garage - very narrow but we managed with a large 7 seater. The view is simply breathtaking- no photograph can do it justice.
