Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is roadside parking for two cars and a patio area with outdoor furniture. Perfect for exploring County Durham, the north Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland, Wayside Cottage is a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Note: This property accepts a minimum of a 3 night booking. Dating back to 1165, Blanchland is reputed to be one of the prettiest villages in England, famous for being the film location for many of the Catherine Cookson novels.
