About this apartment rental

Fantastic west facing studio apartment with afternoon and early evening suns, on the first floor of JUPITER / MINERVA Complex with outstanding views of the massive tropical style pool/gardens and mountains. This studio is adjoining our 1 bedroom apartment (ref 721715 on this web-site) which in return will provide an ideal accommodation for a large family or two couples. The pool is situated in a secured area and is protected by life guards during the high and peak seasons. In the complex itself there is a 24 hour English speaking reception, Bureau De Change, safe deposite box hire, hairdressers, supermarket, poolside bar and shops.

'Costa del sol' otherwise known as the 'Costa del golf ' is one of the most famous coastal areas in the world , and has the mildest winter climate in main land spain ,with average sunny days of 300+ a year.'Benalmadena ' itself is located in south of spain 'Andalucia Region 'within the province of 'Malaga' on the' Costa del sol',known for being alively resort with beautiful sandy beaches and a spectacular promenade 2KM long .The self catering MINERVA/JUPITER complex is situated close to all amenities such as supermarkets/chemist/bakery/laundrette etc.'BONANZA SQUARE' is close by and offer choice of restaurants, bars, and night clubs.
The complex is only 10-15 minutes walk to the beach / Marina & 3 minutes to La Paloma Park.Train station & Arroyo De La Miel is 15 minutes walk.

deficiency list: leaking air conditioner from condensation not directed to the drain line resulting in slippery balcony floor tile, no bed light for reading, only one set of keys, burnt light bulb over the sofa, poor wifi signal, several crawlers, Note: we have been at complexe Jupiter-Minerva several times. The number 8 is by far the worst but floor the best

Broken lamp, broken draws, headboards propped against wall, poor beds, and under the beds were horrible dirty old fold up beds, bedding was old and grey not white, the bed throws had stains on, the shower spray would not hold up, ( had to tie up with a plastic bag) , curtains hanging off pole. The furniture was old and dated. Very poor accommodation needs a serious up date. Previous reviews on this property room 8 Jupiter are in correct.

Ideal location, clean and basic apartment as you expect in the Jupiter or Minerva blocks. Great communication with the owner right from initial booking. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Great location & nice studio, but could benefit from updating. Limited UK TV channels (BBC1 & 2 and Channel 4), which was not an issue for us. The Broadband which was provided by the building was very poor (2Mb & less), but this was not the fault of the owner. All in all we had a good stay.

The apartment is very uncomfortable, poor quality, there is not even a detergent to wash the dishes, as a tourist you have to buy everything,, I will not do it to wash the toilet, there is no cloth to clean the table, when we arrived at the apartment there were wet towels, which were washed without detergent, because they were stained, the beds are very uncomfortable, unfortunately faith, We have left something for the next tourists to take advantage of, I have decided not to come anymore in an apartment with such bad conditions

There were extra beds in the closet and under a bed which meant the closet was unusable. The entrance door had to be slammed shut because it was too tight and many adjacent suites had the same issue so lots of loud thuds at night that interrupted our sleep. Lots of small things that would only cost a few quid to fix and were not attended to. Price was good but it would have felt like a good deal if there weren’t so many disappointments.

I love the Minerva apartments for its great central location , and the lovely pool with plenty of sun bathing area all around. This apartment had a lovely outlook onto the pool, but it was in need of a good cleaning and update. The toilet seat was disgusting. This apartment has the potential to be beautiful given a little bit of attention.

The inside of the apartment was not as good we could not hang clothes in wardrobe as there was so much inside z bed with mattress blankets old curtains etc which made it virtually impossible to use added to that every drawer and shelf was full of books old bedding, curtains etc as a result we spent the week living out of a suitcase

O tempo é muito bom e a piscina tem muito espaço livre. A casa adapta se bem a uma família de três pessoas. Só é pena na varanda estarem sempre a pingar água de outras casas por causa do ar condicionado.

El apartamento en sí está bien, las vistas a la piscina son fabulosas. A pesar de ser un bajo, cuando te asomas a la terraza es como un primero, pero esta genial. La parte negativa es qe había muebles rotos, te proporcionan dos escasas toallas, muchas cosas viejas guardadas de los propietarios, hay un mueble en el qe no puedes guardar apenas nada porqe esta ocupado por todas esas cosas. Los dos últimos días hubo una fuga en el bater y se formaba un charco qe teníamos qe fregar. Echamos de menos una cafetera, el horno y microondas están para tirar se caen a cachos y muy muy sucios. La piscina es increíble. No se si será por las ganas qe teníamos de vacaciones qe al final estuvimos a gusto a pesar de todas estas cosas. Pienso qe podría estar un poquito más adaptado para alquiler quitando mucha morraña qe tienen. El precio en agosto ha sido económico, la playa está más o menos cerca. Vamos qe podría repetir perfectamente
