Corali Hotel

Arrived 1am and hotel couldn’t find Agoda booking !! Not great start. They found us a room and said to return first thing. Not great nights sleep worrying ! Tried to contact Agoda but had to do via link. Next day all was well and they gave us a room, and an upgraded large pool view ! . Problem resolved. Unsure if it was my attempt to contact Agoda or hotel mistake. Hotel was fabulous. Was out of town but we knew this but was close enough for us. We hired bikes. Beautiful white sandy beach end of the road which we loved rather than the packed sunbed full beaches. Town was a 25 min walk but along beach.. 6/7 minutes on our bikes. We cycled to Kos town and salt lake. Food at hotel was excellent. Not a huge amount of choice compared to large hotels, but what was there was fresh cooked and local food. Aways a fish, meat option with lots of interesting veggie choices. I enjoy my food and I was thrilled most meal times. Beer was dreadful. Cocktails hit and miss sometimes good / others not. Spirits felt watered down. Snacks at pool bar just a small piece of baguette with cheese or ham, often ran out. Fruit or one type of cake. This is poor and needs improving. Entertainment at night was ok. Simple but enjoyable enough. Daytime activities none existent. Sun beds always available and this was refreshing change and made a relaxing experience. Towels availability was sporadic ! Some days none. Grounds immaculate and beautifully kept. Spotlessly clean. Staff were a joy and always smiling and pleasant couldn’t do enough for you. I would return to this hotel for sure

The hotel is located in a quiet location, but far enough from the city center, but only 15 minutes from the public beach. The food was good but stereotypical. We lacked a kettle in the room and the hair dryer was also unusable. Even the mattresses were very hard. I liked that it was cleaned every day. I would give the hotel a maximum of 3 stars.
