About this apartment rental
The apartment (repainted in 2019) is located in the seventh district also known as the old Jewish quarter.
Right in the center of the capital, a few meters from the main metro station, the Deák tér (about 5-7 minutes on foot) where three Budapest metro lines join and many buses stop, including the bus from night and where the 100E bus terminal is located, in other words the Shuttle traveling between the city and the airport and vice versa.
A few meters from the Opera (5-7 minutes), the Liszt Music Academy - Zeneakadémia with its music concerts (less than 10 minutes), the Andrássy Avenue classified as a world heritage, the Great Synagogue considered as the largest working synagogue in Europe (7 minutes), from the pedestrian street Váci utca, the bus stop going to the Castle district, St. Stephen's Basilica, the Danube, the Széchényi thermal baths that we says the largest medicinal bath in Europe (20 minutes with metro line 1 or about 35-40 minutes on foot). Other thermal baths (Lukács, Király, Gellért, Rudas) are about 30 minutes away by public transport or less than 40 minutes on foot.
Less than ten minutes from cafes, restaurants, food stores, pharmacy, banks, ATMs, exchange offices, pastry shops, bakeries, dentist.
You will find approximately 5 restaurants within 5 minutes for breakfast. You have ten grocery stores and food stores within 10 minutes.
Budapest's Central Halls (Vásárcsarnok) with its splendid architecture is 15 minutes away. The famous Szimpla Kert (large pub adorned with mismatched objects) with its organic market on Sundays is not to be missed. It is located in Kazinczy Street 5 minutes away.
Down the street 1 minute from Coolflat is a gym / fitness center / spa.
Public transport is free for people over 65 who are nationals of the European Union. The 100E airport bus is also free for this same category.
Residential building built in 2005-2006.
The apartment is located on the ground floor and gives access to our PRIVATE TERRACE overlooking the interior garden of the building. The windows also overlook the interior GARDEN. On the terrace a table and two chairs and two stools for resting, having meals, reading, etc. (Free WiFi also available on the terrace, lighting, socket).
We ask you not to smoke in the building, but you can do so on the terrace.
The studio was renovated in 2019.
The apartment is mainly equipped with Ikea supplies and textiles. 160cm wide double bed. High speed wifi accessible (the best one found in Hungary). Television with foreign channels, and with 73x43 flat screen and with integrated USB multimedia player.
Fully equipped kitchenette. Electric hob, oven, coffee machine, sugar, coffee powder, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, kettle, refrigerator, dishwasher, cutlery, refrigerator, etc.
Dining area with chairs.
In the bedroom a double bed, a bedside table, wardrobe, drawers, an armchair and an armchair, a radiator, a reversible air conditioner.
Books in English and French as well as numerous maps of Budapest in several languages and tourist information brochures are at your disposal.
In the bathroom a sink, a bath with shower, toilet, towel warmer, hair dryer, a washing machine, liquid soap and toilet paper for the first few days.
Although it is only one room, the kitchenette is well separated from the bed.
Electric roller shutter providing absolute darkness at night for those who need it.
You will find in the apartment an umbrella, a small board, an iron. Bath towels and sheets provided.
Clothes rack.
Security: surveillance cameras in the street.
The owner is French speaking.
All charges included (electricity, water, heating, internet, cable TV, etc.). The tourist tax is also included in our price.
In general, I try to be in the apartment when you arrive. We ask you to always tell us by email the time of your arrival, as well as of departure.
Long term reservations are welcome. Contact us for a special price.
Apartment exchange if you come from a French or Belgian city is possible.
If you arrive after 11 p.m. we ask you to pay us a supplement of 15EUR. Also for a departure before 6:00 a.m.
After booking we can communicate via viber, skype, What's app, Line, etc.

Great apartment right in the middle of the city with all the local amenities on your door step.
The owner was super helpful and accommodating right from the beginning till the very end.
The apartment had absolutely everything and more for us to enjoy our long stay.
Would most definitely stay there again.
