A wonderful week in a family run hotel

Maria, the owner, is AMAZING. One of those persons who never sleeps. From early morning until late evening she is around making sure everything is running smoothly. And it is! Rooms, grounds, restaurant... everything exceeded our expectations.

We didn't like the closest beach but with a car or scooter you can pretty much visit every nook and cranny on the island, so this should not be a real problem.

Nice restaurant/tavern if didn’t feel like going to the center. The food was good. Around 10 min walk to the souvenir area and 5 to closest taverns Prices a bit higher than the taverns but it worth for the relaxations and not being crowded. Greek night was nice, included bufet and food for a price.

The hotel is nice place to ours Holiday. The food is excellent - the head chef Marina prepares delicious dishes 😋. The Greek night was amazing!

Nice location for vacation

Good location -close to the restaurants and shops but far enough so that there is no noise during the night. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is ok, the communication with the hotel was great even before we arrived at the location. The Greek Night, the sea view and the food and free parking.

There is no cabin at the shower and when you make shower it gets quite wet on the floor no matter how careful you are

Absolutely amazing

All of the staf was extremely polite and friendly. Probably one of the best stays we’ve had in a hotel. Many thanks to all of you for making our stay unbelievable. Also, special thanks to Elisaveta, our housekeeping lady, who always made sure our room was spot on, and doing everything with a smile on her face. The location of the hotel is perfect with close proximity to all restaurants and of course the private beach. The beach was great with sand and clear water. There is free parking at the hotel for hotel guests. The restaurant of the hotel was also very good with a local dishes menu. Once again thanks team Sunray Hotel for making our holiday unforgettable!

Very relaxing

The hotel is situated in good position, not crowded, with beautiful view of the sea, perfect, modern pool, good bar, excellent restaurant, always relaxing music, very friendly staff. There is beach in front of the hotel, it is only 10 minites walk to the centar, so we enjoyed walking by the sea. It was very very clean, they cleaned the room every day. We loved it, especially the outside area. If you don't like going to other beaches and like relaxing atmosphere you will love it. We strongly recommend the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom was dark and there was bad smeel of mold. The room was very small.

Great location with sea view,and very clean beach in front of it !

Family run hotel with great location and stunning sea view. We stayed 4 nights with half board. Dinner was on set menu and everything was prepared to order. Portions were very good size and food was delicious. Maria was making sure we have everything and was very helpful. Room was very clean. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

The hotel is rights in-front of the beach, so the view is really breathtaking. The rooms are spacious, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious and various. The staff is friendly. I tottaly recommend the Sunray Hotel to everyone. If we visit Thasoss again, we will definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

We had a great time at this hotel! This is a family-owned hotel and everyone goes over their heads to make your stay pleasant and memorable. We enjoyed all the hotel facilities, amazing food and our son had lots of hours of fun in the pool. The beach is just outside the property, it has sand and little colorful stones. You can order drinks easily and enjoy the free beach beds. As a bonus, Maria also guided us to their shop so we were able to bring home delicious souvenirs (figs and walnut sweets, honey, olive oil). We are really happy we selected this hotel for our vacation and we promised will be back soon.

Lovely Cozy and Clean Hotel. Very Friendly staff nothing to much for them and the felt safe for the moment we entered the hotel. The location is superb as it's the value for money. We totally recommend this hotel.

Am ales acest hotel datorită recenziilor bune și pentru că pachetul includea mic dejun și cină. Din păcate, experiența noastră a fost dezamăgitoare. La sosire, camera părea în regulă, însă în baie am găsit vasul de toaletă murdar de fecale – lucru inacceptabil pentru orice unitate de cazare. La cină, am constatat că oaspeții cu mesele incluse primeau un meniu separat, foarte sărac în opțiuni, iar preparatele servite au părut de o calitate îndoielnică, aproape ca niște resturi. Diferența față de ceilalți clienți a fost evidentă și jignitoare. Am stat 3 nopți și, deși am solicitat, lenjeria de pat nu a fost schimbată nici măcar o dată. În plus, atitudinea proprietarei și a celor doi fii ai săi, care lucrau ca ospătari, a fost foarte acidă și lipsită de respect față de clienți. Consider că acest hotel ar trebui să își respecte toți oaspeții în mod egal și să asigure standarde minime de igienă, calitate și bun-simț. Din păcate, nu pot recomanda această locație.

Amplasarea la malul marii si mai departe de centru ,intr o zona foarte linistita,plaja cu nisip fin,suficiente sezloguri si umbrele Micul dejun foarte bun si variat, restaurantul lor foarte bun!

Някои от кърпите се нуждаят от подмяна,тъй като бяха захабени,което е обяснимо при честото пране. И нещо,което не касае мястото за настаняване- много оси навсякъде,щом поръчаш храна.Но и за това се бяха погрижили с пушещи свещи,които до някъде ги отблъскваха. Но това беше проблем навсякъде.
