Villa Il Frutteto is situated on the outskirts of the village of Bellante, which is located between the small city of Teramo and the coastal town of Giulianova in Abruzzo. The location is very quiet with 360' views over rolling hills covered with olive groves, wheat fields, and sunflowers with small hilltop villages dotted around and distant views to the Gran Sasso mountain range. The villa is easy to get to being only 8 minutes drive from the A14 autostrada and 4 minutes from A24 superstrada giving easy access to the mountains of the national parks and the beaches at Giulianova, Tortoreto, Roseto degli Abruzzi and Pineto. It is at the end of a 1km stone road so there is no passing traffic just tranquility!
The villa was constructed in 2015 as an eco house with a lot of insulation so is warm in winter, cool in summer and all rooms have white timber beamed ceilings. The first floor is reached via an external staircase. There are 4 large double bedrooms on the first floor, 3 with balconies and amazing views, all with ensuite shower rooms, 2 with extra daybeds giving 4 more beds, (two of the extra beds are small so they are only suitable for children under the age of 12). There is a large bedroom on the ground floor with ensuite shower room a double bed and two single beds, suitable for wheelchair access. On the ground floor there is a large modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A separate cloakroom WC, a dining room and sitting room both with patio doors opening onto a large terrace with sitting area, tables and chairs, a large BBQ and spectacular views over the hillsides. There is 5m x 11m swimming pool . 2025 POOL OPENS 10 May closes end of September. There are sunbeds and covered pergola for shade and a large garden with ornamental shrubs, olive and fruit trees. Beaches at Giulianova are 20 minutes drive away, local shops and restaurants are 7 minutes drive away and you can reach the mountains in 40 minutes, where there are lakes, walking trails and spectacular scenery in the National parks. From Bellante stazione there are regular daily coaches to Rome central, 2hr 45mins. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility, spend lazy days around the pool and in the evenings sip a glass of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo on the terrace while watching the sunset over the Gemelli mountains. The location and easy accessibility means you can get out and about and enjoy the many attractions of Abruzzo and the many local food and wine markets and festas held in our local villages throughout the summer months.
