The house is large, quite, and the garden is very nice. It is well located for biking and visiting the region.

The accommodation is not up to date for that price. Toilets and bathrooms are from the 70s; the house isolation is very poor, especially in windy time.

Ok for a getaway, but very different from what we expected

The house has a lot of rooms, and quite a cosy living room area. It's surrounded by farmland, so it's peaceful and quiet.

The place was a lot older than we expected, and the images felt slightly misleading. The private beach isn't within sight of the property, and it's more of a water-side paddock with horses and sheep (and their poop) everywhere. Not bad, but not what we expected from the photos and description. The place also wasn't very clean - lots of dust everywhere, hair clogging the shower drain, etc. And good to note: it's an old house so the plumbing upstairs isn't suitable for anything but pee. Which means one fully functioning toilet for an eight-person house.

Very Comfortable beds. Peaceful/quiet. Living room nice.

When we arrived it was FREEZING cold in the house (9 degrees). I d suggest to turn heater on a little bit before people arrive. As it took quite a few hours before we were able to take our coats off. It would be helpful to have the possibility to be able to turn your bedside light on AND charge your mobile phone by your bed. It was one or the other. As there was only 1 socket.

A haven of tranquility far away from a hectic world ! We loved it !

Excellent location, away from a hectic world, Ideal for a nice family birthday gathering. Just next to the Veerse Meer and all its lovely surrounding villages and towns. Enough space for a bigger group ! The house is warm in no time with the radiators. Lovely.....

Toilet(s) with septic tanks... we know it´s an old house, but a bit of inconvenience only to use one toilet, especially when people sleep upstairs, But they are working on it, so next time when we come we don´t experience this matter.

Unique Villa

House The charming house has more to offer than the pictures suggest! It is spacious yet comfy. Traditional yet light. Due to bad weather (march) we didn't use the garden but it looked amazing. Location Secluded and beautifull location. The villa is surrounded by the farmland owned by the farmer that is the host. He is extremely kind and welcoming. Facilities The wifi was good. We had multiple Zoom sessions going on simultaniously and it worked fine. The kitchen is very well equiped. The beds were huge, comfy and there were more than expected!

It is a bit hard to reach with public transport but that adds to the charm.

The upstairs facilities are a bit outdated and the upstairs toilet was marked with a handwritten piece of paper: “out of order”. We dared not go in. The kitchen could also use a renovation to keep up with modern times. And I cannot stress enough that guests really have to respect and adhere to the rules of a septic tank (the guests before us did not, alas)!

Mooie locatie aan het van een doodlopende weg

De locatie is heerlijk groen en rustig gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende weg, vlak achter de dijk. De bedden liggen voortreffelijk! Badkamer en toilet net gerenoveerd en echt goed en mooi. Makkelijk en snel contact met de eigenaar.

Kookplaat in keuken deed het in eerste instantie niet. Na contact met de eigenaar bleek een stop doorgeslagen te zijn en was het euvel snel verholpen. Het huis is groot en oud. Je kunt zien dat het opgeknapt wordt, badkamers zijn nieuw, plafond en vloeren zijn zichtbaar (mooi) opgeknapt, er is een nieuwe haard en de buitenboel wordt geverfd. Tijdens ons verblijf werd er ook gewerkt in de tuin een aanliggende schuurtjes. Dit vonden wij niet erg, maar is wel fijn om te weten als je erg op je privacy gesteld bent. Het zou goed zijn als huurders hier van tevoren van op de hoogte worden gesteld. Wij hadden tijdens ons verblijf last van wat bijen die uit kiertjes van de muur kwamen. Eigenaar was bereid direct de volgende dag langs te komen, echter hadden we zelf een tijdelijke oplossing gevonden hiervoor.

Lekker vrijstaand klassiek Zeeuws huis met moderne accenten en lekkere bedden.

Lekkere bedden, mooi klassiek huis, mooie badkamers

Handdoek mag baddoek worden, extra set theedoeken zou fijn zijn. Ik miste prullebakje in badkamer. Fornuis graag zorgen dat alle 4 pitjes werken. Oven schoonmaken. Verder wel echt perfect :-).

Ruhe pur!

Die sehr schöne und ruhige Lage ist ein Träumchen. Die Bäder / Toiletten wurden renoviert, es gab nichts zu bemengeln. Bei Fragen war Bastiaan telefonisch erreichbar und hat geholfen. Dankeschön, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eigenlijk niets, we zagen wel dat er nog verbouwing in de tuin gaande was maar dat is alleen maar prima!

Fijne rustige historische villa met al veel moderne aanpassingen

Mooie grote villa met veel ruime kamers. Splinternieuwe douche en bad ruimtes en moderne toiletten. De bedden zijn erg goed. Er is een nieuw terras met grote eettafel en een zithoek. Grote tuin om het huis met veel privacy.

De keuken is mooi ruim, maar mist een afzuigkap. Ook is er geen raam wat open kan. Dat lijkt me een nuttige aanpassing. Ook de ramen mogen wel eens gewassen worden. Er staat een Senseo, dus ik zou wat koffie pads klaarzetten als ik de gastheer was en een fles wijn en wat biertjes in de koelkast zetten, dat is namelijk wel gebruikelijk bij vergelijkbare onderkomens.

Top locatie !

Super locatie, authentieke woning. Op t eerste zicht alles proper. Aangezien het een oud huis is, is het moeilijker te onderhouden, maar het kon er mee door.

Vervelend dat het toilet beneden slecht doorspoelde, wat we heel vervelend vonden.
