About this house rental

This property has been completely remodeled to give you the modern amenities and luxuries of a 5 star hotel. This home takes you back to 1940’s Balboa Island. The minute you step inside the front door, you’ll notice the details, from the original wood floors to the charming gas fireplace. This unit has a front house with 2 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room / dining room area to enjoy! A garage for parking your vehicle, perfect during the summer months! AC and Wifi throughout the home.
The back unit is a separate loft area with 2 bunk beds ( sleeps 4 ). This loft has a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. It’s a great home for two couples to share, especially if they have children. A perfect spot for kids to hang out, with it’s large television and Xbox system.

The property is absolutely beautiful! It’s well laid out, accommodated six adults easily, and was of course, close to everything. It was only enhanced by the beautiful weather we had. Don’t hesitate to book!! We enjoyed our stay here so much! Well equipped with so many extras that are not normally provided with a VRBO. The bedding was so comfortable!! My mother-in-law who stayed with us is on a mission to buy those bed pillows. Totally top notch! I could go on and on about the many things that made this place the best VBRO we have ever stayed at. I will share the two negatives- Balboa Island is difficult to get on and off of after 3:30 PM during the Christmas week and the water pressure for the showers wasn’t great. This should no way overshadow all the pluses. I would definitely stay here again! Garage was spacious. We had a mini van and it fit in perfectly with extra room. Also, just to share that the bunk room over the garage was perfect for our adult children. So much privacy for them and us.

The property itself lacks absolutely nothing and was just stunning. The impeccable attention to detail was very much appreciated. All members of our party (all adults age in our 60's and 70's) loved staying the Coral Cottage. It is beautifully furnished and well-equipped. We had everything we needed or wanted. The decor is homey without being personal. To make the stay even more perfect our suggestions are to have bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the beds and to have a window covering over the Dutch door window in the upstairs apartment. These are minor issues and only mentioned because the hosts obviously go to great efforts to meet all of their guests' needs. Don't hesitate on this one!

Our stay at the charming Coral Ave Cottage was fantastic. The house and loft are so well decorated and well stocked, modernized, spotless and clearly well maintained. All of the amenities are premium and many unexpected items like pots and pans, spices, coffee, tea and sweeteners, storage are included, Every potential need is thought about and handled. The host is wonderfully communicative and we had the best time. Cannot say enough good things! We would love to come back!

This Cottage is so well thought out, every space is maximized with amazing detail. This cottage is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owner goes out of her way to make everything perfect including fresh flowers. The kitchen drawers are filled with everything you need or want for cooking and entertaining. The beds, bedding and linens are all five stars. The upstairs unit is perfect for kids and includes an Xbox and big screen TV. From the cottage restaurants, ice cream, boat rentals and beaches are a 2-5 minute walk.

We loved our stay at the Coral Cottage. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. I appreciated the nice touch of fresh flowers throughout the home and cold bottled water in the fridge upon arrival. The Cottage is centrally located on Balboa, walking distance to Main Street and the ferry. We definitely look forward to returning in the future!

Super luxurious. Kitchen and bath were so well stocked. We were gadgets for everything we wanted to prepare and serve. Balboa island is just so picture perfect.
