About this house rental

'Darling on Garling' is perfectly located (8 kms from the heart of the city) in a quiet, tree lined cul-de-sac street just a few minutes walk from very reliable, far-reaching public transport.

This elevated, north east facing home is private and well protected by a motorised high front gate and surrounding high fences. It's comfortable and well designed layout easily accommodates 8 -10 people.

* South patio has a natural gas BBQ just outside the kitchen
* 4 large bedrooms - 3 rooms with queen beds, 1 room with 2 King Single beds and there are 2 fold out beds/sofa lounge (by prior request) if required. All bedrooms have a tv, fan and built-ins
* 2 large bathrooms, both with spa baths
* Billiard table
* Modern, well equipped large kitchen
* Large laundry with dryer

Regular bus services to the city. Stroll around Queen Victoria Building. Walk to Circular Quay, Opera House or hop on a ferry to Parramatta, Manly or Luna Park. Visit Darling Harbour, Art Gallery, Museum or dash off to Bondi/Manly for a surf or a swim.
Ovals, parks and tennis courts abound in Lane Cove as well as a swimming centre. Ample opportunity to partake in cricket, football, tennis, aquatics. jogging or walking.
In Lane Cove strip shopping co-exists with malls and plazas. Coles, Woolworths and AIG supermarkets service the community along with many fine dining and clothing establishments.

Ideally, suited for family, groups and corporate bookings-short stay (min 7 nights) or any other extended stay. Our previous holiday, corporate, renovation and other guests have favourably reviewed upon the spaciousness, its homely atmosphere and the pleasing environmental surroundings.
Our tariff for the price/night is for exclusive occupancy of 8 plus persons being accommodated. This price/night is the same amount for any number of persons less/more than 8 persons (2 single fold-up beds available/sofa lounge).
Minimum period of stay - 3 nights.

The Owner resides, from time to time, in separate and private accommodation on the lower level and is available on call.

We had a wonderful time in Herb’s property. Lovely clean property with everything we could need. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and crockery etc. Herb was wonderful to deal with. Would happily stay there again.

Our family had a phenomenal vacation. The property is in a great location to enjoy day trips to Sydney and the many nearby beaches. Downtown Lane Cove West is only a mile away and provides easy access to groceries, restaurants, and many shops. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The property itself is roomy, well appointed, and a comfortable place to relax between activities. It is a nice home away from home. Herb, the owner, is delightful. He went out of his way to be helpful throughout our stay and we had a lot of good laughs together. Herb, thanks for the wonderful stay. We will give you a shout next time we are in town.

Excellent stay! Kitchen was well stocked, host was generous with supplies. Bathrooms and bedrooms had plenty of linens. 8 min walk to bus stop and 25 min walk to shops. Plenty of space, though beds were worn. Pool table was an extra bonus surprise for kids!

Herb was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. The house was perfect for our staff while they were away for work.
