Die Familie war sehr nett und hilfreich bei der Beantwortung meiner Fragen. Ich hatte sehr schöne Touren mit dem Boot. Der Caño Negro Park sollte bei einer Reise nach Costa Rica mit eingebunden werden. Für Vogelliebhaber ein muss. Es gibt aber auch sehr viele Kaimane und Iguanas, Affen etc.. zu sehen. Neben der Lodge befindet sich unmittelbar ein gutes Restaurant.

A magical place for birdwatching on the water. The owner Douglas can provide excellent English speaking guides or do trips himself. We took a three hour kayaking trip, night walk and early morning three hour guided boat trip.Nothing is too much trouble for him.
The accommodation was spacious and very clean , set in beautifully maintained gardens which attracted the birds. Very quiet at night. Cabins have AC.
Douglas can provide a substantial breakfast and there is an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner next door.
For us, nothing.

Quiet lodge with large grounds down to inlet. Room has aircon and fan
Staff didn't turn up until 16:30. Asked on booking.com for 2 double beds but instead got 1 and a single camp bed. Mossies in room impossible to get rid of as gaps everywhere in walls. Breakfast $10 and all you get is a couple of bits of roll and some scrambled egg - dont go for this option. Laundry $2 per item, again don't bother!
