About this cottage rental
This cottage is very cozy, clean and comfortable and is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and town!
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, kitchen, bath w/ shower, living rm. and a breakfast nook. Outside, there's a flagstone patio with table and chairs and a weber charcoal grill for all your grilling. Replaced futon with a regular couch, 2019.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was exactly what we needed as a family of three. Nicely stocked kitchen, cute breakfast nook, and a nice little living room to hang out in after a day at the beach. The walk was no more than 5 minutes to short sands. Quiet neighborhood, so sitting outside in the patio area was so relaxing. The owners were super sweet and very responsive to our questions and concerns! We cannot wait to return again!

Everything was 'as advertised' and better; very clean, well-appointed kitchen with everything needed to cook, and a location that is convenient walking distance to Short and Long Sands beach and driving distance to many other spots in the Maine coastal paradise. Janice made the arrival and departure as easy as possible, and she and her partner were friendly and responsive.We stayed in both the small cottage (this post), which was intimate but workable for two unrelated couples (would be ideal for say two friends or a couple with children). The larger house across the street was beautiful, spacious enough to accommodate three unrelated couples comfortably (even with work spaces for remote work/studying, etc.).
