Wonderful chalet

Wonderful chalet

We had a wonderful time in Beauchalet. It is a truly delightful chalet - full of character with wonderful views from every window. Bruno was very helpful and responsive when we were there. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the teenagers enjoyed stoking it up each evening. When the snow is sparse the chalet is not really easy to ski in and ski out, but it was only a short walk from the pistes. We did not have a car and it is at the top of quite a steep hill so walking back from the village with shopping etc was quite strenuous and may not suit some people but we were happy to do it. The kitchen is really well equipped and Bruno left us a bottle of wine for our arrival which was much appreciated. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend Beauchalet. Thank you Bruno!

Traditional chalet in good ski in ski out location if you are a competent skier. Bit tricky if a beginner. Great views from hot tub. Could have done with more towels and other basics such as toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid given the price. Owner let us come a day early which was really useful - thanks for this!

We had a great time at the chalet- the hot tub is great, loads of cooking utensils & beautiful open plan living area. Comfy bedrooms. The ski in ski out is definitely not for beginners but half our party got dropped at the bar to ski down to the cable car whilst the other half skied out so it worked well. Quite quiet compared to verbier which we liked, as you can get over to take advantage of the slopes there during the day but you get the quiet seclusion of la tzoumaz. Would definitely come back! 4x4 required - We parked our Corsa in the village car park and used my parents 4x4 to get to the chalet .

The Chalet is very homely and has everything a family needs. Bruno, the owner, is a very accommodating and friendly host. Nothing is too much trouble. It is genuinely Ski in Ski out, although not if you are a beginner. The whole place has the air of a comfortable family chalet and Bruno has provided lots of toys and books to keep the little ones occupied. We had great fun and really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend a four wheel drive with chains for any winter stay.

Great location and views. Great for walking and biking, also the indoor swimming pool is great in village walking distance. Made some nice meals on an evening well equipped kitchen, even daughter did some baking as there was a food mixer. What a wonderful place in the mountains. A great holiday retreat. Authentic, tranquil, awesome

It's not just the location that makes this place a wonderful ski retreat for a couple of families, due to its tranquillity, exquisite views and ski-in/out access, but the entire experience is worth every effort and expense. La Tzoumaz is ideally located on the North slope from Verbier, which makes it ideal for daily ski loops that can get you all the way to Nendaz and back, with a chance for very enjoyable lunch breaks at Col des Gentianes or Combatseline. The BeauChalet itself, a modern rebuilt of an authentic old chalet shows great attention to detail and gives a warm, wonderful, welcoming feeling. The jacuzzi was always highly appreciated after 5-6 hours of skiing, and the cosy warmth of the wood stove in the living room had brighten our charming evenings every single day. You should follow the advice and consider a AWD/4x4 vehicle to ensure easy access beyond the public parking 200 m from the main road, especially after heavy snow & ice (we've saved some poor souls who attempted to load their 2WD van and charge the slope). The groceries shop in Tzoumaz is well stocked with fresh food (especially fresh bread), and easy to access every day (opened until 7 PM), but we also went once to Riddes 15 km down the mountain. We'd love to come back for a hiking vacation during the summer.

Nous avons quitté Beauchalet hier apres une nouvelle semaine merveilleuse de ski entre copains dans les 4 vallées ! 5 ans que nous venons au chalet et ce n'est pas fini. Une telle belle surprise la première fois (2012) que nous répétons l'expérience chaque année depuis. Ski-in / ski-out, chalet cosy et super bien équipé (rien ne manque), et domaine skiable varié et top ! foncez (mais laissez nous notre créneau 😛)

We have spent 2 weeks in the BeauChalet from May to June, and it was a very restful time. We stayed with 2 persons. The place is very peaceful, with a splendid view into the valley of Rhone and to the opposite montains in the east. The chalet is entirely re-built from the remains of a very old chalet, in the Mayens which is former farm land where farmers put their cows in May. Everything is made of wood, with great love for detail and maintaining the original. The interior of the chalet however is very modern. In particular, our bed was very good. And the kitchen is very well equipped, with a gas stoven. The chalet is beside a steep gravel road, and we decided to park some 200m away and haul our belongings in a couple of tours to the chalet. With a 4WD it should not be a problem at all. You can start your hiking tours directly from the chalet. 70m above is the Bisse de Saxon which stretches in both directions for hours. And higher above is the Coeur de Croix, Col de Mines and access to the area of Verbier. By car it takes you about 30 min to either Sion or Martigny where you find all shops and supermarkets you need. Tsoumaz itself has a very small supermarket which is open in the morning. There you get fresh bread in the morning.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour , le chalet est spacieux et très bien équipé. La vue y est super et l'espace extérieur très au calme. Petit bémol sur la route d'accès car même en été, mieux vaut avoir une très bonne voiture pour réussir à y descendre. Accès à pied possible en laissant la voiture plus haut mais forme physique à prévoir pour décharger sa voiture ! :)

Kurz zum Negativen, dann alles Positive. Die online Bilder sind leider nicht aktuell. Es gibt keine 4 Schlafzimmer wie beschrieben, sondern 3 plus Schlafmöglichkeiten. Das war für uns nicht relevant, da wir nur 3 Schlafzimmer benötigten. Die Ausstattung war auch nicht mehr ganz so in Schuss wie es die Bilder glauben machen. ABER, das hat gar keine Auswirkung auf unseren Erholungseffekt gehabt. Super Lage mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Spazieren gehen kann man, sei es zum kurzen Spaziergang ins Dorf, oder zum ausgedehnteren Spaziergang in die Berge. Im Pool zu liegen mit Blick auf die Berge hat auch schon was. Alles in Allem war es ein seeehr entspannter Urlaub. Bei Fragen hat Bruno sofort (whatsapp) reagiert und konnte helfen. Wir würden wieder hinfahren. Ohne Allrad gehts im Winter nicht. jetzt im Sommer musste man den Anfahrtsweg nicht zurückfahren, sondern konnte einfach die Abfahrt nehmen. Also ist Allrad im Sommer nicht notwendig, waren mit einem Dacia Lodgy oben.

Magnifique chalet très bien situé avec une vue splendide. Nous avons bénéficié de conditions parfaites avec beaucoup de neige donc vraiment ski in ski out. Le propriétaire est super sympa et nous a aidé à transporter les affaires sur les derniers 200m avec son 4*4. Le confort à l’intérieur du chalet est exactement comme décrit dans l’annonce. Je recommande cette location.

Wir haben wunderbare 2 Wochen in diesem schönen, großzügigen Chalet verbracht. Tolle Lage mit Aussicht, kurzer Fussweg (10 Min.) ins Dorf mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Zugang zur Bergbahn nach Verbier. Zufahrt ist allerdings sehr steil, muss man sich drauf einstellen können ;) Dieses Jahr (2019) gab es wohl erstmals die VIP Card von der Touristeninformation - damit kann man alle Bergbahnen in 4 vallées gratis fahren! Die Ausstattung, v.a. auch in der Küche, ist umfangreich und top. Gemütliche Zimmer und große Stube mit offener Küche. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der allzeit prompt auf Anfragen geantwortet hat. Einzige Anregung an Bruno: Mehr Handtücher wären toll ;) Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüße Daniela + Familie

Wir haben eine schöne Woche hier verbringen können. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig oberhalb des Dorfes. Das Dorf, wie auch die Seilbahn sind problemlos zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Chalet ist liebevoll ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Was zu beachten wäre, wenn man die Personenzahl ausschöpft, es hat nur ein „richtiges“ Elternschlafzimmer. Wenn also z.B. zwei Familien anreisen wird, was die Schlafzimmer betrifft, eine Paar bevorzugt behandelt... Was die Anfahrt oder besser gesagt die Abreise betrifft, hier ist auch im Sommer ein 4x4 zu empfehlen. Die Zufahrtsstrasse ist keine feste Strasse sondern eine steiler befestigter Waldweg welcher bei Abreise bergauf zu befahren ist. Auch das Umfeld um das Chalet, wir auch das Geländer der unteren Terrasse können mit dem liebevollen gepflegten Inneren des Chalets nicht ganz mithalten - hier hat es noch etwas Reserven. 😉 Abgesehen davon würden wir das Chalet trotzdem gern wieder als Feriendomizil in Betracht ziehen.

Un séjour magnifique qui permet de retrouver la nature, les paysages. Le seul petit inconvénient les télécabines et remontées ne fonctionnent que le week-end de Verbier et rien en juin de la Tzoumaz. Dommage, mais les ballades à proximité du chalet sont très agréables. Nous reviendrons
