Richard is very friendly and helpful with everything. I've been staying here twice a year. Safe and warm home. I would definitely recommend it for any one with or without pets. There is a fenced in yard for your furry friends.

My stay was from September 25th, 2024 to October 25th, 2024. I originally booked this through VRBO through October 30th. I was to stay at this property temporarily for work as an Instructor on the Southside of town. I found myself needing to extend and reserve the property until November 6th. It was a nightmare trying to change the reservation. It took hours of phone conversations with VRBO and the owner. I was finally able to get it changed a month or so before the rental period started. And after all that, I had to check out early (10/26/24) due to family issues. The owner said nothing could be done about a refund on the days not used. VRBO’s are definitely not as flexible as hotels.
Once at the property the response time from the host was very good. Even though the response time was good, below are some items I feel I should mention.
—the property is located within approx. .85 of a mile to freight train railroad tracks. These trains run all hours of the day and night.
—the tv in the living area has limited channels and is not a smart tv so will be unable to screen mirror from your own device. You may have to watch something like a big sporting event from your own device.
—the washer and dryer had issues. Limited to 1500 characters so I can’t elaborate.
—it was very hard to get a receipt for what I paid for to use for my per diem.
Again, the owner was responsive. However, in the end the experience could have better and much more flexible.
