About this house rental

True haven of peace. Located 500 m from one of the prettiest hamlet of Gordes, the house benefits from a 5000 m2 enclosed plot (automatic gate), planted with olive trees and different species, land itself surrounded by vineyards, which gives the place lots of calm and great serenity.
The house consists of 2 living rooms, and the 2 ground floor bedrooms each have an independent terrace and an adjoining bathroom
Although the house is located in a very peaceful location, the village of Coustellet and all its amenities (food, farmers market on Sunday morning, bakery, supermarket etc ...) is only 2.5 km away, also reachable via the road bike which is only 500 m from the house.

This was an absolutely wonderful home away from home for us. It was comfortable and clean; the kitchen had everything we needed (and we cooked); and our pups were happy to have a safe place to stretch their legs and run. We will definitely be back when we need a place to sit back and take a long breath.

We really fell in love with Elizabeth’s house during our week’s stay. Such beautiful views, a lovely pool and a fabulous comfortable home with everything you could possibly need, Coustellet is a stone’s throw away for supermarkets bakeries etc, and the beautiful Gordes is around a a 10 minute dive. Fabulous hilltop villages all around. A total five star experience! Thank you Elizabeth!

Loved staying in this house. All the important things were done well - comfy beds and pillows, a good sized pool with lots of loungers, shady outdoor table for long lunches, top quality kitchen appliance (esp cook top and oven), a cool interior, and super super clean. Whilst having bags of character. Well located for lots of history or activities for kids on the doorstep. Lots of markets to stock up on local produce. Coustellet has absolutely everything - top quality bakeries, delicatessens, organic shops, e-bike hire, 2 super markets, restaurants and a twice weekly market. And lots else. Aside from the sites of historic significance within easy drive, we also took the kids to a water park and theme park near Avignon. Elisabeth was a friendly and approachable host. Checking in and out was easy. I would recommend this as a place to stay.

We spent wonderful two weeks in the beautiful traditional Provence house of very welcoming host Elisabeth. The house had everything we needed for our summer holidays - spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a big clean pool, large garden with a fence for the dog, terraces with sun/shade whatever was preferred and enough space for everyone to have some privacy once in a while. The house is perfectly situated in the heart of the Luberon valley with beautiful villages like Gotdes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux and Roussillion between 10 and 20 mins drive away. That made it easy for us to combine sightseeing and well deserved relaxation. All in all we enjoyed every minute of our holidays. Again thank you very mich, Elisabeth!!!

My family and I had been looking forward to staying in Provence for a while, and Elisabeth’s lovely home met and exceeded all of our expectations. The home is quiet, clean, and lovely, with Elisabeth’s personal touch in every room. My kids loved swimming in the pool every day and exploring the grounds. We took daily excursions through the Luberon villages, on bike and on foot, and cooked a few nights, dining Al fresco in the yard. Elisabeth was such a gracious host. I had made a mistake booking our next hotel in the Alpes a day early, and Elisabeth ensured a friend could come and collect our keys, as she was not in town. She was such a warm and accommodating host. Everything was well-appointed. Next time we will plan to stay longer!

We loved the property location and the setting was quiet and relaxing. The pool is great. Our host was mist accommodating and helpful. The home is comfortable and spacious and has a well equipped kitchen which we used every day as well as the grill which we enjoyed. Close to stores and restaurants and easily in reach of local markets. We highly recommend this home!

Tastefully furnished stone house overlooking the Luberon. Comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely garden and pool. All meticulously maintained. Madam Elisabeth was easy to communicate with and attentive. A great house if one is looking for peace and quiet. Arles, Avignon and Aix reachable for day trips as well as numerous hill towns.

We could not except a better place and hospitality for our vacation. We were not easy - 4 adults 1 child age 3 years and a tiny baby. We enjoyed our vacation a lot. The house is spacious, warm, beautiful and contain everything you could need. Elizabeth accepted us with all good will and flexibility. The house is in a perfect location. We will be happy to stay in this house again and again in future travels.

The house is lovely with a great pool and views. The house is well appointed with just about anything you could want for a holiday. Location suited us perfectly: very short drive to the local shops (supermarche, boulangerie, etc, etc). Very pretty cycling country with quiet roads and the Luberon villages fairly close (although usually atop a hill!) The check-in and check-out process with Elisabeth was very efficient and she was a delight to deal with.

We have had a most delightful stay at Elizabeth ‘s home in area Gordes. The pictures on the web site are actual but you are still blown away by the beauty of its sighting. Her home is elegantly furnished with exceptional taste. There is nothing more you could ask for. The home easily accommodates 6 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. . Her music collection was s joy to play every night as we admired the sunsetting over the valley. The garden is filled with olive trees and a fig tree just out of the kitchen door which was added to the cheese board nightly. It is secluded so no noise or lights interrupted the serenity. The weather was also wonderful so we were able to swim most days in her pool. Her kitchen is well equipped so meals were easy as the local super mart and shops in Coustellet a 10 minute drive away supplied all our needs. The walks through the surrounding vineyards and the gorgeous LesGro just behind us made sunset a delight. Elizabeth is well situated for touring the Luberon Valley which contains numerous Medieval towns that seem to evolve out of the mountains. Our stay ended after 8 nights and we were all very sorry to leave this wonderful house and look forward to revisiting in the near future. Elizabeth was an excellent host and couldn’t do enough to help if we had a problem. Highly recommend this wonderful abode even though we would love to keep it as a secret

The views from the terrace are amazing, it's very peaceful, lovely garden, we had fresh figs from the tree, fresh herbs to pick for cooking. The owner was very welcoming and the house is a perfect position for visiting the surrounding, picturesque villages. The pool was great and the garden benefits from a gentle breeze.

Elisabeth met us & showed us the house on arrival! Beautiful garden & views down to the Luberon + 3 nice rooms! We barely used the kitchen as the BBQ & patio were so nice! Although there is only AC in one room, so it can be a tad warm over night, it's secure & a peaceful place to stay! A good drive from anything so be prepared to drive around! All in all, beautiful, relaxing, welcoming & we'll definitely be back!

A wonderful holiday! The house is very beautiful, the grounds spacious, with beautiful views of the Luberon and escape-proof for our dogs. Laurence gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around, later Elisabeth came to greet us. Two very, very nice women. You can only feel at home in the house: cosy, large, equipped with everything. A really unique terrace shaded by trees and a large pool. And a quiet location. What more could you want? Totally close to excursion destinations and shops. Elisabeth helped very quickly, uncomplicatedly and almost invisibly when once the internet and once the pool pump broke down. We enjoyed the three weeks and wanted to stay longer. A great holiday, 100% recommendable. We will come again!

Elisabeth fait tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable dans sa maison très chaleureuse. bibliothèque fournie riche et variée. Coin repas extérieur idéal 6 personnes ou famille. Wir waren schon oft im Luberon - aber dieses Haus inmitten eines grossen Gartens mit Olivenbäumen und Pool hat uns bisher am Besten gefallen. Wir konnten ungestörte Ferien geniessen, unser Hund hatte freien Auslauf und bei einem Glas Rosé genossen wir jeden Abend die Weitsicht in die grüne Talebene vom Luberon. Perfekt und empfehlenswert!!

Avant le séjour, Elisabeth n a pas été regardante aux échanges, répondant toujours avec gentillesse à mes 1000 questions. À notre arrivée, son accueil a été tellement chaleureux et naturel, que nous avons eu l’impression d arriver chez une amie ! Des gamelles d eau fraîche attendaient nos chiens et des petites attentions pour nous également. La maison est tout à fait conforme à l annonce ! En quelques minutes nous nous sommes sentis bien chez nous ! Il y a absolument tout, voire plus !! Tout est impeccablement propre dans la maison et tellement simple à utiliser ! Et la piscine !! Au calme, hyper bien exposée, chaises longues confortables. Quand on sort de la maison (pas facile tellement on y est bien), tout est proche : supermarché, petits commerçants, traiteur, marché, visites.... La maison est à l image d Elisabeth : chaleureuse, charmante, simple et bienveillante. Elisabeth, tout simplement : merci et à bientôt.

Unsere Familie und unsere Hunde hatten einen Traumurlaub in diesem herrlichen Anwesen. Wir wurden von Elisabeth Senand herzlich begrüßt und die Einweisung für das Anwesen war super. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Einen tollen Ausblick von der Terrasse jeden Morgen und Abends beim Essen auf das Tal. Das Haus war Sauber und super ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren im Nachbarort ist auch super mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Der Pool einfach toll und viel Platz für Mensch und Tier auf dem Grundstück. Unsere Hunde hatten jederzeit Auslauf. Das ganze Grundstück ist eingezäunt. Sehr entspannt für alle. Für uns war dies ein unvergesslicher Traumurlaub. Vielen Dank Brigitte,Dieter,Benjamin, Sabrina und Timo
