First of all, the home we stayed in must have been a gorgeous home in its day. If you're looking for luxury and updated appliances etc. this is not the home for you. However, we were looking for a large comfortable home to accommodate our family and it was perfect for us. Loved the location as so close to the beach. We had a great week. If a little money was spent on especially updated kitchen appliances and household items it would make a world of difference. For starters, toss the tea cups and replace with some nice big coffee mugs for morning coffee. Also, it would have been nice to have an updated big screen tv in the large roomy living room for football weekend. It turned very cool and we were all short of blankets for the six bedrooms. Owners could get a lot more $$ if they would just update the home and give it some well needed TLC. Don't think folks would mind paying a little more for these types of creature comforts. Guess you get what you pay for! We made the best of it and it turned out to be wonderful time with beautiful weather.
