The Winter Lodge is a spacious, 4,000 square feet YEAR ROUND HOME. Built circa 1903 as part of a complex of buildings called the Grove House Hotel (1883), it was later renamed as Deerland Lodge. This great American lakefront camp has been painstakingly restored to keep its original charm and beauty adding modern conveniences for you to enjoy. The property can accommodate large families, with 6+ bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths on a 2+ acre lot with over 100 feet of lakefront. Stay connected with FREE WIFI throughout, and reliable cellular service.

The nearby town of Long Lake offers shopping, grocery, restaurants, ice cream, a marina and much more. The Blue Mountain Lake Adirondack Museum is just a short drive away, and the nearby Wild Center is a "must see" according to the Boston Globe and Adirondack Life. This is our third time staying at the Winter Cottage and it was as amazing as ever. Very clean, wonderful space for family, large dining table, beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, a porch facing the water that you’ll never want to leave, swimming off the dock, kayaking, fishing, ping pong ….in short…perfection.

Wonderful week of fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hiking - and just spending quality family time together. Since there were 14 in our group, the "Great Camp" was just perfect.

Wonderful lake side home. We had our extended family there for a special occasion. There is plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is perfect for many cooks. Everyone enjoyed the lake for swimming, boating and paddle board. Lovely memories!I highly recommend.
