Our 2nd time staying here. Love that it’s right on the beach with nothing blocking the view. And my husband, who doesn’t like heights, likes that it is a 2nd floor unit. It has all the comforts of home, a well supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture, plenty of room, and even beach chairs and toys if needed. Easy check-in and check-out. We hope to be back!

Pros: Rooms were clean, great location, easy access to the beach, nice balcony Cons: It was very difficult to get to the room with our luggage and beach items due to having to go through 2 doors that do not stay open. This Condo needs lots of upgrades. The bath towels were very worn and limited, we had to wash every day and it took all day for them to dry in that dryer, the jacuzzi tub doesn't work, The TV is pretty impossible to figure out and WiFi was bad.

This condo was perfect for our group of 6; 4 adults and 2 small kids. It was as described in the listing for sure. We really enjoyed the balcony and privacy of being in an end unit, especially with our kids. The beach to the west of the condo was crowded, but to the east there was no one! It was a very short and easy walk over the dunes to the beach with a wagon and carrying things, or they had a service for chairs/umbrellas. We really enjoyed the property and our stay as a whole!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious and very clean. Kitchen is well equipped (note there is a coffee pot but not a Keurig). The unit is on the second floor, and the beach is easily accessible. We had everything we needed to have a fun time with our teenage kids. Like most condos, plan to hit the grocery store on the way in because only the bare minimum of paper goods, trash bags, dishwasher tabs etc. is supplied. There are grocery store options within a five minute drive. If you have younger kids, there is a closet full of beach toys and boogie boards already there for you. This unit is on the very end of the building and has a stairwell that you pass through a couple of doors to get to it; This might be difficult for someone with accessibility issues, but makes it very convenient to hop one flight of stairs on your way in or out and avoid the elevator. The condo property is well kept and has a nice heated outdoor pool, with a short boardwalk out to the beach. The location is perfect, just down from the State Park beach and just outside of the busy part of Orange Beach. My only complaint would be that the parking fees are not well advertised, but they are there in the fine print if you look for them. The fees aren’t assessed by the owners, but $50 per vehicle with a chance that you may or may not be able to park your second vehicle is not a plus. My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary here. It was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed. Felt like home away from home. The views from inside were beautiful, but we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning. The beach is just steps away, as is the pool, though it was a little cool for us. We’ll be back!

This was our second visit and it was absolutely perfect. The condo is just as described in the listing so there are no glitches or unpleasant surprises. The condo's location is ideal, not only for being on the beach, but restaurants and shopping are extremely convenient. Parking, although we were told wasn't guaranteed, it was not a problem whatsoever. Everything we needed (and failed to bring with us) was there. The fully equipped kitchen is great; the number and selection of beach toys was perfect for our nine year old granddaughter. The only suggestion we have is that the mattress (queen size) in the secondary bedroom isn't comfortable. Possibly time to replace it? The condo is very nice, quiet, at the end of the beach away from other large hotels. The view is of the beach directly!!! It’s gorgeous! Communication was great with prop manager when I had a question. It’s very important to read all the info on your booking bc they only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels and one little pkt for one dishwasher load and one laundry load. We drove so I was able to bring all that for the 6 of us but someone flying in has to remember to go shopping if that won’t last. Also there is $45/car/stay for parking at the resort. If you know these things it’s lovely. The balcony was nice and there is a queen sleeper sofa in LR. It’s really quite nice! Would stay again.

The property was extremely nice. Decor was just right and clean. There was three things that was not good: 1). Called for more toilet paper. Each bathroom had a small piece of a roll in it. Was told we had to furnish since they gave enough to make it through one night and that was all they furnished. 2) Same with soap and trash bags. What you got was all you got. 3). In all my stays in VRBO rentals, I have never had to pay for parking. 45 dollars for two nights. As I stated, the property was extremely nice, but we won’t be staying there again. These things should be put in the property description for future guests.

The condo and views are even better than the pictures! We feel so lucky that we picked this condo! We definitely had one of the best views and being on the 2nd floor was perfect for quick access to the pool and/or beach! Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 older teens) stayed in this condo and it was wonderful! We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated and felt cozy! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook large or small meals. We did call Mike about one small issue and he answered quickly, was very nice and helpful. They had a closet full of beach chairs, and beach toys. It was an awesome surprise. We didn’t know about the crab hunting until we arrived and our family was excited to use the nets and buckets that were provided. :) The air conditioning worked great, which was appreciated when we would come back from a hot day at the beach. The BEACH access is gorgeous! The white sand is beautiful and the water was clear almost every day we were there. You can tell the beaches are very well cared for in this area. This resort is less crowded and makes you feel like you have the beach to yourself! When you return from the beach, there is a nice area to hose off the sand. The pool was pretty and clean. The whole property looks pretty and well cared for. There was a trash chute on our floor, which was awesome and convenient! :) We can’t wait to stay in this unit again!! Thank you!

The location of this property was great! The condo location was perfect. Great views of the beach and the pool which is great for people with kids. The manager was super responsive. Condo was clean and bad everything we needed. My only complaint is the parking. When you stay at a condo for a week, you should NOT have to pay extra for parking. I’ve never had that happen and we frequent orange beach. At least one car should have free parking. Other than that - perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a beautiful condo and the location was perfect! Beautiful views of the ocean. We even got to see dolphins swimming by! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, as well as all the basics, cups, bowls, plates, silverware, etc. We spent Christmas at the condo and I was easily able to make a complete Christmas dinner, as well as bake cookies for Santa. As our family grows, so must our vacation rentals, and this condo was the perfect size for our family. It felt so much bigger than some of the others we have stayed at, and the layout was perfect. Looooooooooved the huge master bathroom! And having a washer and dryer in the unit was a bonus and so convenient. We had a hard time finding the unit our first night there, as the elevators weren't working, so we had to use the elevators for the other building, and then once we got all the way around, you have to walk through 2 separate doors (a staircase) to get to the front door... we got to the stairs and turned around because we thought it was the end of the building. Didn't think to walk through the doors in the staircase. But we eventually found our way and had no other issues. And it was actually kind of nice having it be the only door past the stairs, as you didn't have any other guests walking by the front door constantly, so it was very quiet. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating at the table or breakfast bar. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely view. Lovely condo -- well equipped, good AC, good beds. The beach was clean and soft. Loved the balcony. Just a bit of morning sun but shaded in the afternoon. Stars were amazing. A bit of a drop off when entering water, which is probably only an issue if you are infirm or very young. (not the property's fault that we were beseiged by jellyfish, winds, surf and even some shark spottings)

This is our second year in a row staying at the Palm Beach Resort and we love it. The resort size is perfect, not a fan of a tower and not a cottage. The location couldn't be more perfect, right on the edge of the state park. ( you should go for a bike ride). All the shopping is just a nice walk or short drive away. The condo we were in was amazing. Very nice and clean and right on the ocean. The property manager was always quick to respond, for us only twice - check in and check out. We had an awesome time, we will be back again

This unit is so close to the ocean! It is not a congested area although they are building a large condo complex next to it (this did not interfere with the stay.) It is roomy, clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. We will definitely stay here again!

This condo was the perfect on beach experience with space and easy access. I enjoyed the private entrance, large kitchen and amazing views. The owner/property manager was very considerate and kind. My family and I were disappointed in our stay at the Palm Beach Resort in Orange Beach, AL. The front door was rusted, very hard to open and the deadbolt did not work which made us feel unsafe at night. The property ground was under construction which we were unaware of during the time of booking our reservation. We ended up having to place a call to the property owner with several issues such as the front door, one of the bathroom doorknob was loose, the shower faucet in the master bathroom was loose, the screen door to the patio was torn, the washing machine did not fill up with water, and the dishwasher was loose and wobbling. Someone came to address our concerns. The property manager indicated they were aware of the front door issues and the dishwasher. I am certain these issues have been reported to the property manager previously, but they were not fixed. I would not recommend this property.
