About this house rental
Saint-Florent (Haute Corse),
7 minutes walk from Roya beach and 5 minutes by car from the city center, a 270 m² villa on three levels with three terraces, including an independent pool level.
Wooded and landscaped garden of 4500 m² with swimming pool, pétanque, orchard and vegetable patch.
Housing:
Villa of 270 m2 of modern design, with T2 on the ground floor. Quiet environment, close to the port of Saint-Florent and 7 minutes walk from La Roya beach. A heated outdoor swimming pool. 6 bedrooms.
This superb villa benefits from an advantageous location, only 5 minutes drive from the city center of Saint-Florent close also to the most beautiful beaches in the area (Saleccia, Lodu ...). The villa is nestled in the heart of a beautiful green and wooded property, including a 10x5 outdoor swimming pool, as well as a large terrace with deckchairs, dining table, ping pong table and summer lounge. Spacious and modern, the villa offers high-end services. A large living room opening onto a terrace with sea and mountain views. In a row, you have access to the spacious dining room and then to the fully equipped kitchen and the utility room and utility room. On this floor there is also a bedroom with a private terrace, a large dressing room and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs there are two comfortably furnished bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.
Another staircase gives access from the living room to the office equipped with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom and a shower room. A separate type 2 apartment located at the pool level hosts a fifth bedroom and a large living room also equipped with a double sofa bed.

In a calm and residential environment, the villa enjoys a calm and privileged setting only a 5-minute drive from Saint-Florent. A lively and family-friendly resort, Saint-Florent is a must for the charm of its citadel, its port and its local shops, and products from the Corsican region, but also its many restaurants. A few minutes from the villa, the Agriates desert is a classified natural site, accessible by 4x4 or by boat (shuttles from the port of Saint-Florent). The desert is renowned for its white sandy beaches and their turquoise waters worthy of the Seychelles. The Roya beach, reachable in 7 minutes on foot from the house, is a white sand beach and offers many activities: water sports (diving, sailing school, boating, water skiing, canoeing ...).
Excursions not to be missed, discover Cap Corse and its typical villages.

A fantastic family house that we couldnt have asked more from. A true gem overlooking St Florent with a stunning beach and activities a 10 min walk away. The terrace and heated swimming pool were perfect, especially in the evening with the sunsets. I Would highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to the north of corsica. The town itself has all the ammenitites for cooking in or eating out. I would have given more stars if the software would allow. 10*

The villa is decorated with taste, light and airy and very comfortable. The pool and gardens fantastic. I would highly recommend and would definitely like to go back.

We wholeheartedly recommend this villa, reality is even slightly better than the pictures shown. The pool is larger than average for a holiday home, and has multiple levels of depth - which made that our kids spend hours and hours swimming and diving.
We had an amazing week with 2 families and in retrospect we could've easily fit one or two babysitters as well. Parts of the villa have just been renovated, which results in a fresh and stylish ambiance with new bathrooms.
Proximity to saint Florent is perfect.

Be ware: the house and the surroundings look great, but the hostess Karen is a really unreliable person. She wasn’t there at check in, altough she promised to show up the next day: she didn’t come. We found the house really dirty, especially the cupboards. We had to clean all the cutlery ourselves and the dishwasher was full. Also the sink was leaking, the stove only partially worked and the sunchairs are old. One broke by just sitting on it! In stead of apologising, they charged us for it!
Also the advertisement states ‘heated pool’, but that’s incorrect. The pool is marginally heated for a few hours a day, which doesn’t result in a nice temperature. We were disappointed by this because we especially had chosen this house for the heated pool, since we have small children and the holiday was in october….
Finally, at check out, Karen also wasn’t there. We vacumed the whole place before leaving and paid a large amount for cleaning, still they charged us double on our credit card without any notice. My advice: don’t book this house. The pictures look nice, but you will be disappointed by the service you would expect and extra charges.
