About this house rental
A luxurious warm family home with incredible mountain and lake views awaits your next holiday.
The house is powered with renewable energy using solar panels and a Tesla battery, making use of the sun as an energy source as much as possible.
There are 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms (two with ensuite's), separate bathroom, guest toilet and large laundry room. Outdoor fun with a large heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Perfect for a large family or two families together.
The house is a family home, well equipped with all the facilities and kitchen equipment that you will need as well as a Nespresso machine for the morning coffee! On arrival you will find your welcome pack with a bottle of from one of Central Otago's most prestigious vineyard Felton Road.
There is a large open plan contemporary kitchen with Knoll dining furniture and a large wood burner in the main living area and a heat pump providing heat or cool air as needed. There is second heat/cool air pump outside the downstairs bedrooms and ducted heating or cooling upstairs keep the whole house warm or cool.
The upstairs Movie room has a large smart TV and if you don't want to use the streaming channels there are thousands of movies to choose from the DVD collection, catering for the whole family.
A large garden with 11m heated swimming pool (heated between November to April), sauna, a big spa pool suitable for 6 to 8 people and a comfortable seating area to relax and enjoy the view. If you want to escape to a quieter outdoor space the upstairs deck area with expansive views over the lake is the place to go.
There is wireless internet, surround sound in the main living area with speakers inside and outside.
The master bedroom has a super king bed, 2 x queen beds and a double bed. All beds are made with up quality linen and luxury towels are provided. The beds also have electric blankets and warm feather duvets.
Table Tennis table for indoor fun is in the garage.
There is a cleaner available at extra cost if required during your stay.

The house really is a home, complete with an amazing fire place, cozy furniture and many children's toys. We had a great winter stay.

Ultimate relaxation in an amazing location. Jay welcomed us on our arrival and showed us the house, which is a lovely and modern 4 bedroom house.
The house felt truly like a home away from home. Spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains that could be seen from around the house; there was no rush to finish your breakfast with those views.
A massive DVD library made every night a movie night for the family, and a great fibre internet connection kept the kids' devices happy. With a great new kitchen, and a BBQ outside we never felt the need to head out for dinner.
We were very happy with our stay and thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

After 8 weeks here the owners nearly had to kick us out! The home was perfect for a family of 5, each with their own room, and with a very eclectic DVD/Theater room. We loved the layout of the home, all appliances and furnishings modern and comfortable. We also throughly enjoyed getting to know the owners and was very impressed with their communication and attention. Even little details became necessities like the outdoor SPA, large yard, BBQ, outdoor seating, gorgeous lake and mtn views, spacious garage and wood burning fireplace. The location was excellent for our family as it was quiet, and close to great hiking, biking and trail running but convenient and close to town for quick trips to the grocery store, restaurants, etc, and all the great ski fields. The only addition we’d like to see to the home is the Crocodile Dundee DVD that the owner ‘guaranteed’ he had . . . Still looking for it mate . . .
