About this apartment rental
We invite you to visit the tourist apartments La Casa del Abad, located in Anguiano, in the Najerilla river valley and the entrance to the Sierra de la Demanda. It is an ideal area because of its easy access, to know its rich heritage, to explore the variety and richness of its landscapes and colors, to visit it by proximity to other places of interest, or for tranquility and relaxation.
Ideal apartments to "enjoy that special date" with your partner or family, with privacy or with recreation. Surely you're happy.
The House of the Abbot is a 17th century construction, built by D. Joseph Hipolito de Urrutia y Ceballos, Arcediano titular of Sª Burgo de Osma and Beneficiary of Villa de Anguiano, to which corresponds the shield that flanks the main facade of the house. The building, for its artistic interest, we find inventoried in the Artistic Inventory of Logroño and its Province. Practically destroyed, its rehabilitation was addressed starting in 2002 with the supervision of the Department of Heritage of the Government of La Rioja. All the constructive elements of interest were kept (stone walls, forge elements, wooden roof rods and some wooden doors), ending with the aspect that now offers to the visitor.
CHARACTERISTICS
We have two small tourist apartments, ideal for families or small groups of friends. Capabilities Apt. Albín 2-4 people, Apt. Valdesayón 3-5 people and Aidillo 6-8 people.

Bathroom It is equipped with full kitchen with appliances (washing machine, fridge, microwave oven, TV), as well as small service appliances such as a toaster, juicer, blender, as well as crockery and cutlery.
VALDESAYÓN APARTMENT: A double room, a room with a double bed and a living-kitchen with a two-seater sofa-bed with Italian opening. Bathroom It is equipped with full kitchen with appliances (washing machine, fridge, microwave oven, TV), as well as small service appliances such as a toaster, juicer, blender, as well as crockery and cutlery.
AIDILLO APARTMENT: Formed by the two apartments, with two double rooms, a room with a double bed and living room-kitchen with a two-seater sofa bed with Italian opening. Two full bathrooms It is equipped with full kitchen with appliances (washing machine, fridge, microwave oven, TV), as well as small service appliances such as a toaster, juicer, blender, as well as crockery and cutlery.
Services: We have a free crib for children. The house also has a garage for collecting bicycles.

Un entorno fantástico rodeado de montañas y atravesado por un rio en el que te puedes bañar. El apartamento esta cuidado al detalle y tiene unas bonitas vistas a la montaña.
El pueblo es bastante bucólico y muy comodo para ir con niños ya que es peatonal y al lado del apartamento tienes una tienda de alimentación y una farmacia. Además puedes comerte unos buenos caparrones en el restaurante de abajo.
Los pueblos de alrededor son fantásticos y a 10 minutos esta el monasterio de valvanera que nada tiene que envidiar al de suso.
Los dueños son una pareja encantadora que además de tener varios detalles, recomiendan rutas para hacer senderismo muy aconsejables.

Hemos estado en los apartamentos un fin de semana de mayo en la Casa del Abad. Es de las mejores casas rurales que hemos visitado, los apartamentos están perfectamente limpios y completamente equipados (el menaje, los electrodomésticos, la vajilla, y el ajuar - sábanas, toallas y mantas- etc.), ocupamos ambos porque íbamos 6 adultos y un niño, y Roberto se encargó de ubicar en el grande la zona de comedor para todos, resulta cómodo y espacioso. El mobiliario y los enseres están nuevos, la calefacción y el wifi funcionan fenomenal. La casa está llena de detalles que te hacen sentir muy cómodos. Nos facilitaron información turística y de interés de la zona. El pueblo es precioso, volveremos pronto. Muchas gracias por todo Roberto, tienes una de las casas más recomendables que hemos conocido.

Estuvimos alojadas dos familias con niños, una en cada apartamento, durante el puente de La Inmaculada.
Los apartamentos son muy acogedores, amplios, limpios y están nuevos. Aparte de la mar de bonitos. Ambiente rural (paredes de piedra, techos de madera) pero con todas las comodidades de tu casa.
Por las fechas que estuvimos, se agradecía llegar de las excursiones y tener la casa calentita.
En cuanto al entorno, si vais con niños, aprovechad las excursiones cercanas, sin coger el coche. Desde el río puedes ir a varias (la cabaña de pastores, el castaño centenario...). En la casa tenéis los mapas. A 20 minutos en coche recomiendo la excursión del Rajao, el mejor hayedo de la zona. Se aparca bien y es circular.
Begoña y Roberto, encantadores y conocedores de su pueblo y entornos, os recomendarán.
Aprovechad también para comer caparrones y sobaos (en la panadería).
Como actividad extra por estar en La Rioja, recomiendo visitar una bodega. Nosotros estuvimos en Bodegas David Moreno, a 20 minutos. Incluso con niños, es un acierto. Si vais de esta casa rural, tenéis descuento.
