Staying at Casa de la Abuela Rosy was perhaps one of the best experiences I have had in my life while travelling. It is like staying with your family! The room was great, the mattress was excellent, the kitchen and breakfast were better than first class. But most of all, the best experience was the host Ricardo. Ricardo made us feel in good hands and at home. He was helpful, he gave guidance, assistance, and a feeling home. Few hosts in the world can compare to Ricardo.

It was winter so the living room and kitchen were cold. Also, it is difficult (but not impossible) to find parking.

Quiet authentic old school bnb

Great location and super lovely staff. Feels like an old school pensione! Fridge full of food. Quiet, with a sense of real Malaga, but close enough to the touristic center.

Convenient place to stay in Málaga

In a good location allowing you to walk to the city centre. The apartment was clean and had its own character. On street parking nearby but it could be hard to find a space depending on the time you arrive. Perfect place for a few days stay

Apartment is creatively equipped. Kitchen is full of snacks and fruits. Self-prepared breakfast was nice.

Apartment looks a bit strange due to lots of personal stuff. Location is not the best. Price is too high for what you get. There is no sound-proof in the room. You can hear your neighbours having shower or walking.

I consider it nice, to be a shared apartment

I like the attention by the host Ricardo, the room and the dedicated bathroom were clean and with good details and products normally not even expected. Breakfast is auto service, and it is good

Location is fine but at least for me not the best, this is not the right the Center of the City, which maybe and advantage or disadvantage depending on people preferences, initially I was fine with walking down to the Center, then I was feeling tired to walk up to the place, and I ended up going back by Taxi. Additionally, people can have their own room/bathroom, however, the kitchen for breakfast and similar was shared and could be a bit messy when more than two people were sharing this space, at anyway it was OK

This place is really like home away from home ♥️ It’s so cosy and nice and clean! Ricardo is amazing and takes so good care of the place. Definitely going back if ever in Malaga again! Thank you Ricardo, for making life a little bit easier on the road with our dog!

Good value for money given the location.

The location was the best thing about this property. Good: The location is about 20min walk from Centro and about 25min walk from the main train station when coming from the airport. There was a clean private bathroom available. The over cleanliness was impressive and the room smelled nice. The host Riccardo was wonderful and gave lots of travel tips.

There is no air conditioning and even the opening door/window didn't help on a hot night. Opening the door/window would negatively affect privacy and noise. The bathroom is not ensuite. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with no lift access. I suggest carrying toiletries; there was a basic handwash filled in the shampoo and conditioner bottles.

Good location near old town. Very spanish hole with a lot of things in. There is a kitchen in flat with breackfast- products and cofee but you have to cook by yourself.

We had a number in Indian style. It was nice and clean but a lot if indian smell. Check if you have an allergy.

Small but very friendly with exuberant and colourful decoration everywhere, very cheerful. DIY breakfast was easy and good quality, lots of choice.

Sharing a bathroom was not too difficult with few other guests but if there are room with private facilties, I'd choose those.

Comfortable, easy, and the best hostel experience I’ve had.

Breakfast was self serve and Ricardo had stocked everything we would want for a good breakfast, from eggs, bread, pastry’s, meats, fruits, and much more. It was all well laid out and very well planned.

cosy bedroom. hot water worked well. kitchen was very well equipped and breakfast was very good and diverse. nice host.

mattress and cushions were not comfortable/possibly need changing. Gap on the bathroom window meaning another guest using the kitchen might see/hear into the bathroom which may be a bit awkward.

Cheap, clean and quirky but all shared facilities, out of the way. Hostel not hotel.

Quirky hostel (not hotel) with spacious shared communal lounge. Great beforehand communications and and overall friendliness/cleanliness.

Don't expect a hotel. Although good value this is an apartment on the third floor in a residential block with another hostel situated on the floor below. It seemed I woke up each one of my five mornings to strangers (other guests) wandering around making breakfast in the small kitchen. Quirkiness of the decor not to my taste. Location is quite a way out of the way in a suburban side street that was not easy to find.
