Our holiday homes are in the the ancient Castillean village of Piedralaves (province of Avila) exactly at Las Viñas street, very close to the natural swimming pools called "the granddaughter" and "grandmother".
It is very nice and the views from the house are spectacular (green pine mountains all around, the "serradilla" and Lanchamala peaks- Gredos Range, Tietar River Valley, all very quiet and relaxing.)
On the one hand you can breathe peace, and on the other hand you are only at 5 minutes, a short walk from the historic & commercial village center.

We recently spent two weeks at this lovely spacious apartment in Piedralaves. It was a short walk into the local town with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars etc. It was also very close to a lot of lovely walking trails and a beautiful area for swimming in the river. The apartment was clean, there was loads of space for our teenage boys to have their own rooms. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need although there were only a few glasses and one single wine glass. My only small suggestion would be to consider supplying fans for the rooms - it got crazy hot at night and because it was sheltered and on the ground floor, even with the windows open there was no breeze. Other than that, a great stay with lovely hosts who were easy to contact at all times.

El alojamiento está fenomenal, es super tranquilo y con una piscina y jardín que son una delicia.
Ana la propietaria, encantadora y pendiente de todo en cualquier momento.
Lo recomiendo y sin duda volveré.

Wir kamen mit der Familie her und hatten insgesamt eine sehr schoene Zeit hier in den Charlets.
Die Zimmer sind gross und in den Haeusern herrscht eine angenehme Temperatur.
Nachmittags genossen wir den Pool, der sehr geraumig und erfrischend ist.
IWir empfehlen es sehr.
