Staying here was the ultimate retreat. Patty was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel so welcome. There were steep stairs to the rooms, but it’s so long as mobility is not an issue this is a perfect place. The neighborhood was very sweet and wonderful for evening walks. Not far away were many restaurants and a wonderful ice cream shop. The space itself was so sweet and my teen daughter described it as grandmacore! The view of the lake from the living room window was stunning. The oven and refrigerator paired with some basic cooking gear and plates and utensils were perfect for making some simple meals. The front porch was a lovely for morning coffee. I would highly recommend the stay here. Thank you so much Patty for making us feel so welcome!!

We were in town to visit with family and this suited our needs for a short stay. Quiet location and amazing view of the lake with beautiful sunsets. 3 bedrooms was a plus for us as I had to work remotely from there one day. Easily connected to wifi. Host provided nice touches such as bread, pb & jam along with bananas, oj, and coffee! Also, nice and ample supply of towels. Very easy arrival and departure. The downside for us were the steep stairs that lead up to the living quarters (may be better suited for younger occupants as we are over 50 with knee issues).

Lovely place, short drive to Pere Marquette beach, which is beautiful. Great communication from the host, and so many nice touches inside the apartment. Some smell of cigarettes, which our host was unhappy to learn about and eager to correct. Tough when the renters before you disregard the house rules! Important to know ahead of time that the steps are narrow and steep and the bathroom would be too small for some body types. Overall a very nice experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Thank you to our lovely host!!

property was clean and nice with a good view. Didn't like the very small bathroom. Is not a very good use of space.
