About this cottage rental
Casa do Tomás is a rural tourism house situated in the Península del Morrazo, one of the main tourism areas of the Galician Rías Bajas. The area is surrounded by some very interesting spots, where you can do anything from sports activities, such as hiking or watersports, to cultural activities, visits to archaeological settlements, Romanesque and Baroque churches, mills, typical granaries, monumental crosses or “cruceiros”, pazos (ancient thatched mountain huts), and old houses of great artistic and historic value.
There are also large areas of natural interest, such as the Castiñeiras Lake , where as well as the large quantity of flora and fauna, there is a magnificent recreational area, with barbecues, tables and a viewpoint, where you can spend a lovely day with the family or friends. The maritime routes, among which we can highlight the visit to the Parque Natural de las Islas Atlánticas, is another of the attractions offered by this beautiful area.
Allariz is perfectly linked with the main surrounding cities, such as Pontevedra, Vigo or Santiago de Compostela. Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy the wonderful white sandy beaches , for instance, the Loira and Aguete beaches. The latter is the home to the Real Club del Mar, which organises sporting activities throughout the whole year, among which we find the Cruceros Regatta in the month of August. Just a few kilometres from Allariz, it is possible to find other activities such as horseriding or golf.
To all this, we must add the festivals, both religious and gastronomy which are unique to our region, such as the Virgen del Carmen, the Crayfish and the “Caldeirada”, which attract many keen cuisine enthusiasts.

Nos encantó. Nos alojamos en el apartamento que es de reciente construcción y resulta ideal para parejas que busquen intimidad o parejas con hijos pequeños como era nuestro caso. Cama, baño y cocina bien equipada, tele y una lavadora comunitaria. Muy cerca de las playas, de Marín, Pontevedra, Bueu, Cangas, Moaña e incluso Vigo. El trato con el propietario genial, muy cercanos y atentos.
En nuestra opinión solo pequeños "peros":
El exterior está un poco descuidado. La gran cristalera del apartamento es genial... y no, al mismo tiempo, pues las cortinas no tapan lo suficiente y a las 7 tienes un monton de luz en la habitación que en caso de molestarte la claridad para dormir estás jorobado. Poco aislamiento acústico, te enteras de lo que hacen los vecinos quieras o no. No estaría de más un horno o micro con grill para hacerte unas pizzas ??. Aparcamiento de muy dificil acceso.
Detalles para mejorar, pero un lugar muy recomendable.
