About this cottage rental
...In the Sierra de Francia, just a stone´s throw from chestnut and oak tree forests, close to the monumental villages of La Alberca, San Martín del Castañar, Sequeros..., situated in San Miguel del Robledo, a village with a very small population and really peaceful, in a garden that surrounds the houses with more than 300 different types of plants that bloom abundantly all year round... Oh! And with wide open views from east to west for you to gaze in wonder.
The houses are built in stone and wood , with all the warmth– and naturally cool in summer - very cosy because of the rustic decoration.
Each house has been carefully thought out so that two people do not feel lost, they also have ample space for four people (approximately 60 sq m).
The inside area is divided up into two floors . They include a lounge-dining room with a fireplace and a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and terrace on the ground floor and a spacious room with a balcony-viewing gallery and bathroom on the top floor.
They share a fenced off area with a garden , a roasting oven and barbecue, a siesta area, a greenhouse for plants, a ceramic workshop, a small pool to cool off on those hot summer days, a vegetable garden, a flock of sheep, car park...

Manuel, que han estado todo el tiempo atentos para que estuviéramos a gusto. El entorno, una maravilla, tanto el de la casa como la zona en general

Het appartement is ruim. Het is beneden wel wat donker, maar daardoor wel koel. Boven is het wel wat warmer en zou een airco fijn zijn.
De eigenaar is ontzettend hartelijk.

Estuvimos disfrutando del maravilloso entorno de San Miguel del Robledo y sus alrededores del 21 al 28 de Abril.
Nos alojamos en Jara y la verdad que no le faltaba detalle a la casa. Estaba totalmente equipada, con unas vistas incríibles. El trato con Manuel, Conchi y Magdalena fue genial, puesto que si necesitábamos cualquier cosa ahí estaban para ayudarnos y explicarnos todo lo que podías hacer en nuestra semana de vacaciones.
El jardín de la casa rural es increíble, está cuidado con mucho mimo y todo tiene un por qué. Si tenéis un rato, decirle a Manuel que os explique, porque cada rincón tiene su historia.
Todavía nos acordamos de la subida al Pico de la Mina con Manuel, Balú (el perro) y nosotros con nuestra perra, que por cierto, qué buenas migas hicieron Daira (nuestra perra) y Balú.
Os recomendamos que si tenéis un rato y si encontráis el Bar Las Raíces abierto en Las Casas del Conde, pasaros por allí, porque José (el dueño) fue muy amable al rescatarnos de la ruta que nos perdimos. Fue nuestra salvación, sino hubiésemos tenido que andar otras 3 horas más por lo menos.
Otro de los sitios que se come muy bien es en El Molino, en Miranda del Castañar. La carne está en su punto y la atención es exquisita.
