Chateau De Val

C’est un gîte , pas un hôtel . Vous serez les seuls dans le château pendant la nuit . Donc calme royal 😊 . La literie est très bonne , l’environnement magnifique . C’est vraiment super !!

Le petit déjeuner : vous serez obligé de faire 200 mètres à pied car le service room ( un prestataire qui livrait le petit déjeuner à votre porte ( photo trompeuse ) n’existe plus . Donc le château a un deal avec le restaurant d’en face . Problème, pas de service avant 9 heures et choix très restreint : boisson chaude, croissant point barre. Pas de fruits , pas de jus , pas de céréales … en fin bref nul . Accès avec les bagages est compliqué . Avec des valises c’est l’enfer . La télévision : après une demi-heure d’essai , j’ai abandonné .

Gîte insolite tout confort dans un cadre exceptionnel !

Le petit déjeuner dans le restaurant voisin n’était pas à la hauteur du lieu (personnel peu aimable, piètre qualité de la prestation), dommage de finir un séjour exceptionnel sur ce bémol !

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, and a living room. We particularly liked the stylish, modern design of the rooms, which created a very attractive contrast with the historic character of the castle. Breakfast was served in a restaurant just a three-minute walk away, with wonderful views of the water and the castle.

Overall, it was a very comfortable and memorable stay in an exceptional setting. The only improvement that could be made is the Wi-Fi connection.
