Woodywood house Bohinj

For me , i just wanted place away from touristy spots , where it was enough for me to sleep , get some work done in the evenings and apart from that i was out of the house all day. So it fitted my needs exactly and the price was on the lower end or cheaper than lot of other places at the time of booking. It was very comfortable . Id stay there again.

The pillow was old and smelt a bit funky but i didnt care that much.

Ideal location and privacy, easy access to the keys.

It was very cold inside during the first 2 days after our arrival ( 13-15 degrees) as the central heating did not work correctly. It is impossible for the quests to change the temperature of the heating, it has been done authomatictly (probably by the owner). After using for 2 days a wood stove in the living, the temperature has been increased to 20 degrees. Difficult communication with the owner concerning the topic. No curtains in the windows, roller shutters present in the windows possible to close and open only from ouside, diffuclt access to the window which comes open as the bed is on the way.

The location and the amount of equipment in the apartment was very nice

Maybe instead of the current bed there would be a regular double bed the place would be mouch cosy.

Be aware, in booking it says House for vacation, in fact you will get apartment (1 room) on the first floor. Bathroom is fine. In kitchen a lot of unnecessary tableware, it's better to have less amount of it for this place. You can park car on the grass, while another apartment could park under the roof. Besides another apartment has everything needed - and view, and enough space. In this place no wardrobe, no place for baggage, looks like tv is not working too. Also, its quite noisy, if you have neighbors upside with children, be ready to hear them, especially if you need to work. As where do I need to work else, if there is only one table, and in the garden the sun will burn you. In the room it was cold (early autumn), you have fireplace, but how do I need to know how to use it to warm up the apartment, or you should provide enough firewood for whole week of staying. Also, as it was raining outside and apartment could not warm up, it became damp inside. Maybe if you come to spend your time somewhere on the lake, this place will be enough. But I came to rest, work and relax there, I really wanted to enjoy Bohinj area during those times. I was disappointed at all. And if I understood the conditions prior our arriving, I would never stay there and would never recommend.
