Welcome to the Pensacola bungalow “Seabird Shack”. A spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bath historic home that features amenities, linens and hardwood flooring. Bring along your four-legged friends (pet fee required) so they can enjoy the fenced-in backyard while you relax on the patio. Pensacola is "the oldest city established in America" and it all began downtown. Enjoy our rich history and beautiful white beach while you visit us. Just minutes from downtown, this spot also features easy access to Pensacola Beach, Naval Air Station, and many other Pensacola hotspots! Be sure to check the Pensacola event calendar - we are known as the “Festival City of the South” and there is always something going on!
Tearing down the old homes and building new shotgun style homes are all around our Seabird Shack. The downtown Pensacola area is changing. Lots of new restaurants, bars, attractions and a minor league baseball stadium. Home to the Navy Blue Angels precision flying team (watch them practice on Tues/Wed am), 2017 Southern Champion Blue Wahoos Double A professional baseball team, and plenty of special events will keep you busy while you are here.

Historical to New homes, make sure you visit Joe Patti's' Seafood Shop, catch a Blue Wahoos baseball game or learn about the history of Pensacola while strolling the downtown streets. Of course, you are about 15 mins to our famous White Sandy Pensacola Beach. We Live Where Others Vacation.

Pros:- Check in/out was simple, items communicated clearly. - House was clean upon arrival. - Host provided welcome message.- House had ample space. - This property is relatively close to downtown. I would not say walkable, but less than a 10 minute drive. - House is about 10 minutes from the main gate of NAS Pensacola.- House has fenced, private yard.- Neighborhood was quiet.Cons:- The photos of the house are accurate, photos of the yard are not. To elaborate, the yard is pretty overgrown now and trees need to be trimmed back for ease of parking vehicles. Branches of tree at the driveway entrance hung low enough to scratch the paint on our vehicle’s roof!- The lights are a bit wonky, but is an older home. Some light bulbs burnt out. That’s a minor thing, but should be addressed.- The dishwasher is not secure and is difficult to open. - Toaster needs replacing. - Washing machine (while essential!) gets off balance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Pensacola.

Easy to check in. Comfortable Standard size bed plus two other bedrooms, it’s a cute beach cottage with large kitchen, washer & dryer, dining room, living room and tv room. 1 bathroom with a full size bathtub. Had to move the fallen driveway gate to park the car. Previous tenants had not swept the floors very well.

The house was amazing, the only issue we ran into was the washer was unbalanced but that was the only issue. The beds were comfortable and check in and out was easy as pie

Overall our stay was good. The proximity to things was good, about 20 min to Pensacola Beach. There were items in the kitchen, as well as some leftover condiments. The issues were mostly that it is old and run down. The tub doesn't drain well. The kitchen could be updated. The outside needs some landscaping as well. There is a park with a small dog park 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is patchy. Seems there is an attempt to revitalize it with renovations and new builds occurring, but many are very run down
