Alderly 11 Rooftop Coastal Bliss

Location was perfect.

Accommodation is dated, with many big cockroaches, especially in and around both bathrooms, and tiny white ants on benchtops in kitchen area. I don’t say this to be disparaging- however, I have a severe phobia towards roaches of any kind, and so I was quite nervous throughout the week while staying at the property, never knowing when one was going to rear its ugly head. The property managers will tell you, ah, suck it up - these are the native Queensland inhabitants! I also called Niche (the property managers) on the first day, telling them about the ants. I got a call back saying that housekeeping will be right up to try to help clear the ant problem. But nobody showed up, and nobody contacted me again. I suppose we were not important customers - we were only paying a very above average rate of $720 per night, not extortionate! We have stayed in so many other places in Noosa over the years, and never had this problem before, as all other places seem to be in better shape, all sealed up properly, etc. Again, the apartment was fine, and the price in comparison to everything else in Noosa over the Christmas period was hard to beat. I suspect that it was less expensive because of the resident house guests already living there!
