Very peaceful house,near the town center,not far from the wood.The building is located in the village of Flluminimaggiore at the foot of Mount Argentu and along the River Fluminimannu, on the southwest coast of Sardinia (Costa Verde) exactly in the mining area of Sulcis-antimony. Distance from the sea only 10 minutes by car. The nearest beach is to Portixeddu and Buggerrru. The nearest beach is to Portixeddu and Buggerru.
Charming is the landscape by contrasting colors: yellow ocher dell'Arenile to black and gray of the cliffs and rocks until the green vegetation that is ideal for all lovers of sea bathing and sun, that they find this place a 'enchanting atmosphere and great tranquility.
For lovers of diving and snorkeling excursions to the rocky seabed territory offers rich flora and fauna. Not far away are Cala Domestica, Capo Pecora, Scivu and Pools (these desolate and wild).
Piscinas is famous for its dunes are unique in the world as high as 50 meters and go in the 'hinterland for almost 2 km.
Typical Sardinian mansion was recently renovated respecting its tipologia.La house is located in quiet area, not far from supermarkets. E 'surrounded by a large garden with mountain views, furnished to consume food outside.

We love the house and the surroundings. The house and garden have been lovingly restored and furnished. The village is very relaxed. Anyone who likes silence, nature and peace can have a good time here. Thank you for the hospitality!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus in Fluminimaggiore sehr genossen. Frau Pinuccia Piras hat uns sehr freundlich mit Wein und Kuchen empfangen und uns alles erklärt. Es handelt sich um das Haus ihrer Großmutter, das mit sehr viel Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail renoviert wurde und mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Garten ist romantisch und schattig mit Zitronen-, Feigen- und Kastanienbaum. Alle Geschäfte im Ort sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar, es gibt auch ein paar Pizzerien. Unbedingt ausprobieren: Laden mit Käse und frischer Pasta gleich um die Ecke! Die Hofeinfahrt ist etwas eng, war aber mit einem Fiat 500L gut machbar. Überhaupt ist ein Auto für die Entdeckung der sehr abwechslungsreichen, interessanten Umgebung empfehlenswert. Wer Traumstrände sucht wird hier ebenso fündig, wie Liebhaber von Berg-und Küstenwanderungen.

Wir haben in unserer Reisezeit Sept/Oktober (ab 23.09.2021) noch heiße Tage erlebt und da war nicht nur der Strand San Nicolo
(ca. 11 Km entfernt) mit weitem Blick aufs Meer ein Glück, sondern auch der schattige Garten des sardischen Hauses mit reifen Feigen! Die Vermieterin Pinuccia Piras war von großer Freundlichkeit. Das Haus ist mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet, gut vor Sonnenlicht geschützt; das obere Stockwerk etwas wenig schallgedämpft nach unten..Das Haus liegt am Rande von Flumminimaggiore, ringsherum wohnen keine Touristen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Pizzerien (mind. 2) und ital. Bars befinden sich in guter Nähe. Uns scheint der Einsatz eines Autos fast unerlässlich für Unternehmungen. Die Garteneinfahrt fürs Auto ist etwas eng und bedarf Fahrersorgfalt. Wenn wir wieder in den Südwesten Sardiniens fahren, bleibt diese Adresse vorrangig. Die Vermieterin wohnt nicht in der Nähe, deshalb ist ein Kommunikation vor Ankunft wichtig.

We spent a wonderful week in August in Fluminimagiore! The house is gorgeous! Very clean, tastefully decorated with lots of great details. Very clean and well organized !!! Comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. Pinnucia is a wonderful host - very kind and helpful.The village itself is charming. Is a testament to the mining history of the place. Lots of great murals. Within 300 meters from the cottage perfect pizza! Nearby grocery stores, with cheeses, bakeries ...Within a 5-minute drive there is a paradise beach in Portixeidu. Although we were in the season you can find not crowded place. We had a couple of days with high waves. Our children were delighted! We tried different beaches in the area, but this was the best ...
