About this house rental
This 104 year old beach cottage has undergone a spectacular transformation with a three level addition and the total renovation of the existing house. The main level addition includes a large great room with 180 degree views along with a wrap-around deck. The upper level deck addition of the primary bedroom encompasses views of the Atlantic Ocean, Beavertail Lighthouse, Narragansett Bay, and Wesquage Pond Wildlife Refuge. The lower level addition boasts a large playroom and a third full bath. Every square inch of the original house has been renovated while maintaining the original charm of a beach cottage. The private beach is just a short 3 minute walk down the hill - 600 feet from door to shore! Access to the beach is by pass only for the residents and guests. The house is a perfect spot for weekend escapes.
The home has a two living areas, both with gas fireplaces, large kitchen with a bar island, dining area, four bedrooms, 3 full baths, a playroom and two levels of outdoor decks. Hear the waves as you wake up in the primary bedroom with the sunrise over Bonnet Point. There is central A/C in the entire home.
This home has everything you need including internet access, Hulu live TV, linens, beach chairs, games, toys, washer/dryer and much more. Also included is an outdoor gas grill and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is a ring camera at the front door. The private beach is one of the finest beaches in all of Rhode Island. The beach is cleaned daily in season and there is a lifeguard on duty. Boogie boards are welcome and surfing is permitted at certain times of the day. Children will be delighted with the rocks at the end of the beach where they can find plenty of tidal pool sea life.
Narragansett offers everything from beautiful beaches to fabulous fishing to scrumptious seafood. Newport, with its spectacular coastal scenery, thriving downtown waterfront, and famed Gilded Age mansions is just a short drive away. From this home, you can walk to several restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as Baron’s Ice Cream - the best ice cream in Rhode Island.

This home was perfect in every possible way! So beautiful, even larger than it looked in the photos, immaculately clean, and incredibly well- stocked! The decorating was lovely, the furniture and mattresses were so comfortable, and the two fireplaces were cozy! The view from the great room and the two levels of decks was spectacular! Our wonderful host was kind, quickly responsive, and helpful in every way. We look forward to returning for another stay!

This property is beautiful, exactly as described in listing. We had 7 adults staying for graduation and we were all comfortable - enough space for all. The views from the decks (when the fog lifted LOL) were gorgeous. And the beach was a quick walk down the hill. Quick drive & you’re in Newport. Nancy was very responsive and went out of the way to answer any questions. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in the area.

House was just as pictured on VRBO. Access to the beach is very close and good views of the beach from the house. You can hear the waves all night long from the two upstairs bedrooms. The two downstairs bedrooms are towards the street so probably can't hear from there. The house is great for kids. There is a playroom in the finished basement that has just about everything young kids would want. Our 2 year old grandson joined us and he was so happy with all the toys. He didn't need to bring any of his own. There are toys, games, puzzles, cars etc., a nice table set up with crayons, markers etc for drawing etc.
Very clear instructions from owner. She also left a nice gift bag for us. (Thank you!) Would rent from them again.
