About this house rental
Charming Farmhouse on beautiful, 50 acre, parklike setting. Close access to wine country areas. 5 min from Columbia Gardens Wine Village! Easy access to all freeways. Last century charm with modern amenities. Fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee provided. Wifi and TV. Comfortable beds for 8 adults. Pastoral views from all rooms. Peaceful privacy!
Note: 3rd sleeping area is a shared TV room with three twin beds. (Not a private room with a separate door).
Cozy, comfortable, and well appointed inside. Beautiful and private outside. Relaxing country surroundings, but still close to all Tri-Cities attractions and wine country.

We like the solitude of the location but the place needs some serious upgrade with their furnishings.
Other than the dining room we couldn’t find a comfortable chair to sit at. The TV room is made up of day beds which are a back breaker trying to sit at. So we didn’t even watch TV. But the channels were limited with an internal antenna where channels were coming in and out anyway. The living room couch is one that you automatically slouch down when you sit while the other chairs looked more decorative than functional. The electric fireplace was a nice touch though.
As far as cleanliness, there is a sign when entering of no cats. But someone didn’t pay attention as there was cat hair all over the place. Also an exterminator needs to come in and spray. We killed lots of spiders and bugs.
As far as cleaning, there was food crumbs under the cushions and between the day beds.
On the positive side the owner was responsive to our need for better towels than what had been originally left out. And her communication was timely.
As for VRBO, the instructions for check in should be more timely. We had booked this stay on the back end of a vacation so when we received instructions only a day ahead, we had no access to a printer. And because of the remote location, cell service was an issue pulling up instructions. Not sure why VRBO has to wait so long to send check in instructions. Especially difficult with a remote location and no available printer instructions.
