Whole Sunshine International Guest House

I like that the hotel rate are very reasonable and are all inclusive (no hidden charges) except for the 100$ deposit to get the key card which is refundable in full amount after you checkout. The location are very accessible to almost tourist spots, market and mall (Victoria harbor, Avenue of the star, museum of art, 2mins ferry boat to hongkong island, etc). Very near to MRT. (Taxi fare was 278$ including baggage fees that took us into less than 30mins ride. We are family of 5 (3 adults and 2 toddlers). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room are small yet very clean and tidy with bath towels and sleepers. Location of the hotel is near the entrance of chungking mansion and on the next floor (4to5floor). All in all, it was worth it for a budgeted layover travel.

There is only one elevator.

The guest house is clean and services is good considering the price. The location is excellent since it's within the commercial district of TST kowloon. Transportation is accessible thru bus, taxi, MTR or ferry. Lots of restaurants to choose from for your meals. Shopping centres are offering branded and original products. Convenient stores are within the area for your immediate needs.

Transport service upon arrival and departure to airport is not included.

We were hesitant at first to book a hotel inside Chungking Mansion, given the age of the building. To our surprise Whole Sunshine International Hotel exceeded our expectations. Whole Sunshine International Hotel is situated right in the heart of TST. Everything is within reach from malls, restaurants, bus stops, MTR stations, milk tea shops. There is even a Nike, adidas outlet shop at the basement of the building. This makes it so convenient incase there would be a scheduled protests and you just need to stay close to your hotel. Exit C of TST MTR station is located just across it. There is a 24 hour McDonald's incase you suddenly get hungry at wee hours of the evening and, plus, this is also our run to food for our kids. We requested that all 4 rooms be placed in one floor, and they gave in to it. Staff can speak little very little English, but they will try to understand you until you get what you need from them. For Hong Kong standards, the Family room is so spacious. Everyday our rooms are cleaned. Toiletries replenished. They would lend you adaptors for your phone chargers. It feels so new since it only opened its doors this year(not sure, but I think March 2019). We are definitely going to book this hotel the next time we go to Hong Kong. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. 👍👍♥️♥️

Perfect location, very near k11 and victoria port. Around with popular restaurant / shop.

- no hair dryer in the room, need to ask / get from reception (shared with other rooms) - long q for elevator, but luckily it is 4/5th floor then we can use stair. Many hotel brand in this building but most of them located in higher floor
