The host was lovely. It took me longer to get there than planned, and she was gracious enough to wait for me and offer me wine when I got there. Even though she doesn’t speak fluent English, she did a great job communicating and was available to help me organize a taxi back to the train station when I left. The place was an excellent deal. It was the cheapest place available on booking, and it was an epic amount of space for one person. The location is wonderful … an easy walk to the main attractions in the center of town, and just a mile from the Valley of Beautiful Women. There are grocery stores nearby. It is near the bus station but a little bit of a hike from the train station.

The owner is friendly and the location is pretty good. The kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are very big and spacious, so very good for a family stay. We had 3 kids + a baby with us. The location is quite central - it takes just about 15 minutes to walk to the old town.

The apartment comes from old times and so is the style as well as the renovation state. It would need serious up-date in order to call it a comfortable apartment. Everything works somehow, but the look is... hard to describe. If you have courage to see it, then book it and have a look. There's no possibility to park or even stop the car closeby. But when you drive a little around, you'll find a free parking place eventually.

Our experience was wonderful. The house fits all basic needs: big rooms, a small garden, washing machine, everything what you will need for a holiday. It is really close to the center. Our host prepared towels and some candy, as well as a bottle of Egri Bikavér which was really appreciated. Everything was clean and comfortable, we would definitely go again.

The only downside of the property is the busy road next to it, however if you close the windows you can barely hear the noise.
