L'appartement est très bien situé et est bien équipé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la réactivité de l'hôte.

The door code for entry to the building was incorrect on Booking.com. However, we called the concierge and she gave us the correct door code immediately. The boot/ski room is very accessible. The parking is next to the accommodation, this made unpacking the car very easy and quick. The kitchen is tiny, however has a good size fridge, smaller freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, small oven, coffee machine, plenty of crockery, cutlery. The overall feeling of the apartment is cosy. Great radiator to dry gloves in the bathroom. Frequent free buses. Local shops 5 mins walk with Sherpa grocery store and a few restaurants, ski hire, tourist info, take out pizza and recycling facilities or for a 10 minute walk uphill you will find larger variety of shops and restaurants, night life.

You are not allowed to alter the room temperature and not allowed to use the fireplace. The kitchen does not have any work space to prepare food, did not have scissors, chopping knife or a vegetable peeler however I am sure if we ask the concierge, then they would have been supplied, but we take our own from past experience. No sink in the toilet to wash hands, you have to go into the bathroom which is a pain should others be using the bathroom. The room accommodates 5 people, but only one bedroom with a large single bunk bed and two larger singles underneath that can be pushed together to make a large double. Bedroom is reasonable size with storage and electric heater. Lounge has a sofa bed that can be pulled out each evening, a small chore. The sofa bed provides another large double bed but this means you lose the lounge space. Only two comfortable chairs in the lounge when sofa bed is out and we found it a pain to put the sofa bed away every morning, we are a family of 5 so kids sat on our sofa bed., no problem. We were lucky as the sun shone all week, however in bad weather you would not get your ski clothes dry if a family as only one radiator in the bathroom, one electric heater in the bedroom which you should NOT put wet coats and salopettes on. Has a washing machine on the lower ground level and luckily we took pegs and washing line cable, I washed the basics and they dried easily hung on the washing line cable in the apartment. Airer was seen in the washing room that I assume you could use/borrow. The accommodation is NOT ski in - ski out. You must walk 80 meters minimum uphill before you can put your skis on to ski, then it is a short ski down to the nearest two lifts. If you return from Val D' Isere then the final run to return to where you started is a BLACK run on to a green, if not then you must take a longer route to get home, to the point you started.

De locatie van het appartement was top. Slechts een paar minuten lopen en je stond bij 2 stoeltjesliften. Naar het centrum was het 10-15 minuten lopen, helemaal prima.

Ik vond het appartemnet erg duur voor wat je er voor kreeg. Het was erg klein, heel oud, niet overal even schoon (spinnewebben enz) en de bedden waren net planken. Het skiruim is prima, helaas deden de drogers voor de skischoenen het niet. Er is een balkon, dit zit alleen helemaal weggestopt tussen andere appartementen en een berg. Er is ook geen zon in de middag op het balkon. In de kelder staat een wasmachine. Om hier te komen moet je een aantal trappen af, met een zaklamp. Dan kom je door een of ander techniek hok en om de hoek staat de wasmachine. Hoe fijn ook dat deze aanwezig is, maar hier wil je nog niet dood gevonden worden, zo smerig. Men was bezig een ander appartement te renoveren, dat mag bij dit 5 persoons appartement ook echt zeker gebeuren. Ze kunnen er iets heel moois van maken. tot die tijd is de prijs absurd hoog voor hetgeen wat je er voor krijgt.
