The dining room hosts a large farm table with seating for eight and additional seating at the 4 bar stools along the bar.
The kitchen has an easy flow with a large bar and stainless appliances. Stocked with small appliances, a toaster, a blender, a hand mixer, and a coffee pot. Pots and pans, baking dishes, serving dishes, and platters. All the utensils you will need to prepare a meal and a grill on the back patio. Also, kids' dishes and plastic patio/deck ware are located in the kitchen.
Just off the kitchen is a mud room/laundry room with a washer and dryer, hanging hooks for wet clothes, and shoe space. Also, a half bath for easy access. Plush beach towels and an ice chest are in the cabinet, and beach chairs are kept in the master closet; enjoy the beach!
The back patio has a hot tub and furniture for outdoor entertainment. Relax on the comfy outdoor furniture on the wraparound porch to enjoy any time of the day, kick back, and watch the kids play or the sunrise over coffee.
Take advantage of all the amenities The Lookout offers, including two swimming pools, parks, playgrounds, pickleball, bocce ball courts, lakefront access, a marina, and more. Live Aloha has everything you need to enjoy your vacation - board games, puzzles, video games, DVDs, kids’ toys, corn-hole, and more. This was our third stay at the lookout, first in Live Aloha. The layout worked very well for traveling with parents, two small children, and grandma and grandpa – everyone had their own space. We loved the front porch and happily spent hours relaxing, reading, and watching the Lookout happenings go by. Was sadly too hot to use the hot tub, but the vineyard pool is an easy two min walk. These older homes in the complex are starting to show a bit of wear and tear, and keypad lock was broken when we arrived – so we struggled to even get into the house at check in time. A super nice young man from maintenance was able to fix it that evening, but until then, we had to leave someone at the house so we didn’t get locked out. We also found a glass next to one of the beds that was growing mold that cleaning clearly missed – eekkkk. Again minor things, but reflective summer occupancy, fast turn-arounds for cleaning a whole house, and hard wear on the homes. Still worth it to come stay here for a few days.

Very central location at the lookout overlooking the long grass park. Front row for slip & slide and wiffle ball tournaments. Covered seating on the veranda for afternoons and evenings, bistro table on the West side for morning coffee. Nice furnishings and appliances.

We arrived after our check-in time, but staff were still cleaning up the property. No big deal, but they missed numerous pieces of trash in their hurry. Numerous small details like burned out bulbs were relatively quickly fixed by the property company after we called about it.However, we soon discovered the hot tub was not working; the water was cloudy and smelled terrible. They sent people out to work on it several times over the week we were there but couldn't get it working (said it was probably a bad logic board). My special needs daughter was so excited about this and it was a huge disappointment for her.The management company offered us a small PRE-tax refund that amounts to ~7% post tax (taxes are still paid on the full amount??). We asked for more since this is why we chose this property over other cheaper ones, but the manager needs to approve, and EVERY time we have called she is not there; we left a number several times and she NEVER calls back. No refund yet and it's been a month at this point.The property is lovely, if only it were taken care of.
