The Jolly Boat is a delightful apartment for two people. It is one of seven apartments in Seapoint, a Victorian building perched high above the sea on the edge of Port Isaac. It is modern, sunny, light and airy and makes a lovely retreat for two people all year round. It is well placed, being within easy walking distance of Port Isaac village and harbour, beautiful Port Gaverne cove and pub and the coffee shops, gift shop and restaurants at the top of the village. There is free private parking directly outside - a real bonus in Port Isaac where parking can be almost impossible, especially in high season.

The Jolly Boat overlooks the communal garden at the back from the bedroom and has a view across towards the hills from the living room. There are no sea views from the flat itself, but as soon as you step out of the building you are facing the sea, with dramatic views across to Port Gaverne. You can take the chairs and small tables from the communal area at the front of Seapoint and place them on the area directly overlooking the sea to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.
There is a large communal garden at the back where you will find a clothes line for drying clothes, towels, wetsuits etc.

I chose this property because of the advertised views over Port Gaverne, and it did not disappoint! I was originally planning to stay at the property by myself, but then my dad decided to come along. The owners were very kind and made arrangements for two sets of linens (beware, they are not included in the rental price!) so that we could also use the pullout couch. I slept very comfortably there for all 7 nights of our stay. The rental was small and cozy but had everything we needed, and once we found the direct walking path up the hill to the Co-op, we were set! Be advised that this rental is about as far from the harbor in Port Isaac as you can possibly get (and uphill the whole way) but the parking sport was super convenient and we loved feeling like we were on top of the world. We pulled the communal table and chairs out pretty much every night of our stay, enjoying a drink as we looked out toward Tintagel and watched the sun go down. Owners were so lovely and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again next time we are in PI! Highly recommend for a solo traveler or pair of family members or friends.

On the outskirts of Port Isaac with Port Gavene just a few hundred yards away and with a dedicated parking space made this an ideal location to explore this part of the Cornish coastline. The first floor flat was really nice - bijou - but perfect for a couple, but it was the location that really made this holiday and we were so lucky to have a week of perfect weather

The property was excellent. It had everything one needed for our stay, it was clean and fully equipped. We found however the process of locating the property quite frustrating. Not the instructions from the owners but the fact that we would have had to wait 3 days before our stay from yourselves. This was extremely frustrating and we will not be using this system again. We did eventually communicate with the owners who were extremely helpful and we would have liked to have had this facility at the beginning.

The apartment is just the right size for 2 people and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Amenities are within walking distance (the town of Port Isaac is a steep downhill walk and what goes down must come back up ;) ) so make sure you wear the right shoes. Port Gaverne beach, which is right in front of the apartment, is great for some relaxation as Port Isaac is very touristy and busy in the summer. I would definitely come back here.

Nice place to sit out in the sun in the evening, and an allocated car space. Great location for a short walk into Port Isaac, or Port Gaverne, or the coastal path.

Lovely spacious flat half way between Port Issac and Port Gaverne away from the tourist route. Magic views from small area downstairs in inclement weather and outside overlooking Port Gaverne. The 2 camping chairs a real plus to sit out looking directly down on Port Gaverne as was the dedicated parking space, easy to get into and out of. Only downside for me as someone of matureyears was the small shower but

Apartment is cosy and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Shower slightly awkward to get in and out. Fabulous area in front of designated parking, with chairs and table available to use, we took full advantage of as June and sunny. Although no views from apartment, the view from this outside area, absolutely stunning.

We spent two lovely weeks in the Jolly Boat! The flat is very cosy and is provided with everything you might need on a holiday, from a well equipped kitchen and a comfy sofa to read on on a rainy day to folding chairs to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking view! We were very sorry to leave. Thank you Karen and Jeff!

Karen and Jeff’s flat was decorated with lovely Cornish accessories/ornaments. The kitchen was well equipped. However getting into the shower was a bit tricky i.e. too high and small. Could do with an extra toilet roll! 😉 Overall we had a pleasant stay in the flat. Thank you to the hosts.

Although the weather was rubbish during our stay, we had the most amazing week away. The appartment was very clean and had everything you need to feel at home. It is located within walking distance of many lovely shops and restaurants in Port Isaac and is a short drive from many other “must see” areas in Cornwall. The host was always available to answer questions and was very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect small but adequate one bedroomed apartment close to Port Isaac but away from the crowds with added bonus of parking & a view to die for at the front of the property. Flat is in a good position in Port Isaac with parking space. Furnished to a good standard. Only downside is bathroom rather cold and bedroom cold and damp. We were there during storm Gareth, which probably did not help the situation. Would imagine this would not be a problem in the warmer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite this.

A lovely stay in a cosy flat with everything you could possibly need. Excellent communication with the owners. Thank you Karen and Jeff. It’s ideally situated and has fantastic views outside. Port Issac is just a 10 minute walk away and is just amazing. So pretty. There’s a couple of pubs, gift shops and some nice eating places. It’s very relaxing. The hills can be quite challenging though!😮� It’s also not too far, with a car, to go off and visit other places such as Padstow, Newquay and Tintagel. I highly recommend this place. It’s a hidden treasure. Hopefully in the future we’ll be back again for another visit. 😊�

What a lovely place. It has everything you could need and is comfortable and homely. The view out front is lovely and we sat out with a cuppa on more than one occasion, just gazing out to sea. I spoke to Karen prior to our trip and she was very lovely and helpful. Port Isaac is beautiful and the homely apartment tops it off. It's easily walkable to all restaurants and bars. A great holiday!!

We had a wonderful time. The flat has a nice touch to it and is beautifully decorated. We stayed here with our two year old boy and the apartment had all we needed. The apartment is just a short walk to the centre of the village. At the bottom of the road of the apartment is Nathan Outlaw's Michelin star restaurant. There is a supermarket close by. When stepping outside of the apartment you have beautiful view over the coastline and bay in front of the house. Karen and Jeff were extremely helpful and there were also many helpful visitor information for visiting this part of Cornwall in a folder in the flat. Overall, we loved it and we'll come again.

I had a very pleasant week in the Jolly Boat which is in a great location. The outside of the building is a little tired and I was not tempted to sit in the communal porch despite lovely views but to take chairs out and sit overlooking Port Gaverne was fantastic. The flat itself had everything I needed and the kitchen though small was well equipped. To be so close to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne was a real bonus as was the parking although until I realised you could remove the poles I had a few challenging moments getting into the space!

There is so much to say about the Jolly Boat that its difficult to know where to begin. An absolutely delightful hidden gem. Including parking, which is an absolute must in Port Issac. It has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible, a real home from home and decorated with art from local artists, which really is a lovely touch; Karen and Jeff have certainly thought of everything. The view from the front entrance is simply breathtaking. This was our fist visit to Port Issac, even though we visit Cornwall every year we are completely in love and will most definitely be back. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and we enjoyed some of the nicest food to be had anywhere. The walks along the coastline were spectacular.

We have sadly just returned from a 5 night stay in the jolly boat and we're missing it already!! We decided to have a honeymoon in port isaac and treat ourselves to a fancy dinner at Nathan outlaws restaurant, which very conveniently, is less than a 2 minute walk from the jolly boat! The flat is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town which is stunning and has some lovely restaurants and pubs on offer. We also did some serious walking, being so close to the costal path. The flat itself is beautiful!! A perfect seaside retreat. It's out of town so it's lovely and peaceful. It also comes with its own parking space which you soon come to realise is a real bonus in port isaac! The flat is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you may need and furnished/decorated to a very high standard. We were there for the last week of October and we found it very cosy :) The owners, karen and Jeff, have thoughtfully left an information booklet in the flat with all sorts of useful local information. They also left contact details should we have needed anything during our stay, which we didn't need but it was reassuring to know it was there if needed. All I can say is thank you so much, I am determined to return on a yearly basis :-)

The Jolly Boat is a lovely clean, well maintained and bright apartment which was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was great for seeing Port Isaac and surrounding areas. Had a very enjoyable week here and Karen, the owner, was very helpful, her customer service was excellent. I would definitely hope to stay here again in in the future.

We have been holidaying in Port Isaac for a number of years now, however, the Jolly Boat is the best accommodation we have had by far. The property is very clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and in an ideal location. The owner, Karen Lewis, was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Port Isaac and indeed, we are planning to use the Jolly Boat again next year for our holiday. Andy & Lynne

The Jolly Boat is a delightful little first floor flat, not hugely spacious, but entirely adequate and well equipped. There are excellent views from the front of the property and a huge (communal) garden at the back of which we made good use. There is also a designated parking space - a significant bonus in Port Isaac. We had several enquires (regarding incidental things such as bed linen and delivered shopping) prior to arrival, and we found the owners extremely accommodating and quick to respond. The property itself is maintained to a high standard, and very well equipped. We took advantage of the CD and DVD collection. There is a landline, which was useful for incoming calls. Mobile 'phone reception is poor, and the (superfast) WiFi was most useful. All in all, a very comfortable flat, well equipped and maintained to a high standard, and well situated. We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend it.

What a fantastic flat. This was our first time to Cornwall, and we totally felt at home at The Jolly Boat. A quiet, perfect location, with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Had a lovely holiday in port Isaac , the jolly boat was a fab flat ,very well equipped , super bed!! Close to shops restaurants and harbour ! We had wall to wall sunshine so made good use of the outside area overlooking the sea. Highly recommend this place. Going back!!

We had good communication with the owners, Karen and Jeff, before and after booking. They were very helpful and accommodating especially when trying to pay with foreign currency. Location - the apartment flat was central to Port Isaac and Port Gavern. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. And having a dedicated parking space in the area was a definite plus! Flat -The flat shares a common sun room and patio with gorgeous views of the ocean. The new double bed was very comfortable with nice linens. We slept very well at night. There was plenty of storage space in the bedroom for our things. The kitchen was well equipped. I can't think of anything that it lacked. There were instructions for all the appliances/electronics which was quite useful as we were unfamiliar with some of the workings. The WiFi worked well-we had no problems logging on. We would definitely like to return and would recommend to our friends traveling to the UK.
