Enjoy fine retailers like Lululemon, Sephora and Tommy Bahama. Leilani’s on the Beach, Hula Grill and Monkeypod are great restaurants at Whaler’s Village along with many grab-and-go places too. Many of Maui’s best catamaran and parasailing tours also depart right from Kaanapali Beach. Literally, the boats pull up to the shoreline for loading and unloading. To the north of the Whaler resort is the famous Black Rock at the Sheraton Maui. Enjoy the ease of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, the Village Trails or the very difficult Mahana Ridge Trail. Kapalua is home to some of Maui’s best restaurants. Higher end spots like Merrimans, Sansei, the Plantation House Restaurant, Cane and Canoe, and the Banyan Tree are wonderful for any special occasion. Honolua Store, the Pour House and Taverna are a little less pricy for amazing tasty cuisine. Neighboring Napili town also has a selection of restaurants.
