Nicely done up. Beautiful building once you are inside. Lots of space. Nice and quite area. If you're looking for a bakery though you won't get lucky. You have to use the kitchen of the holiday flat.

The house looks terrible from the outside. We passed it first, thinking this couldn't be it. It seems to be falling apart. But once inside it is done up really nicely. So don't let the facade scare you off. The rooms are lovely and big but it takes a while till they warm up Very little infrastructure in that area. Fine if you know it, though. We wanted to go and have breakfast on a Sunday and ended up buying a sandwich at a patrol station. Nothing within a 20km radius.

Seele auftanken - hier!!!

Wir sind bei der Anreise auf den Gutshof zugefahren und hatten sofort einen WOW - Effekt. Ein wunderschönes altes Haus mit so viel Liebe zum Detail und mit soviel Geschmack eingerichtet, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, was auch an der wundervollen Gastgeberin lag. Die Ruhe im Garten hat uns unsere Seelen auftanken lassen. So viel auch unberührte Natur, abends kamen die Rehe ganz nah, Igel, Hasen, Blindschleichen. Wir sind geerdet. Man ist schnell auch in den nächsten Orten, am Kummerower See zum Beispiel. Wir kommen definitiv einmal wieder. Schon allein um zu sehen, was weiter dort entsteht.

Es war alles wunderbar. Ein paar Fliegengitter wäre ein Vorschlag.

Ein Urlaub der besonderen Art

Inspiriert durch Fernsehsendungen, die die schwierige Rekonstruktion alter Gutshäuser dokumentieren, wurden wir auf dieses wunderbare alte Gebäude aufmerksam. Verkehrstechnisch gut zu erreichen, dennoch in absoluter Ruhe gelegen, beschlossen wir kurzfristig ein kleines Abenteuer! Sehr freundlich empfangen, aber ohne Vorschriften und Verbote, dieses oder jenes zu beachten konnten wir unsere große Ferienwohnung in Beschlag nehmen. Wir staunten immer wieder über all die authentischen Dinge, Einrichtungen, Wiederherstellungen, Aufarbeitungen und die Verbindung von Altem und Neuem, denn nicht alles kann aus dem 18. Jahrhundert beschafft werden. Den Gastgebern ist es gelungen uns in die Jahrhunderte zurück zu führen. Wir durften alles anschauen, draußen im riesigen Garten verweilen und auch die noch im Bau befindlichen Nebengebäude sowie die Ziegen und Hühner beobachten und betrachten. Besonders haben uns die langen Gespräche mit dem Besitzer gefallen, denn wir neugierigen Urlauber hatten viele Fragen, ja hätten noch viel viel mehr in Erfahrung bringen mögen. Es ist doch eine Heldentat, wenn Menschen bereit sind alte Kulturgüter für die Menschheit zu erhalten , all ihre Kraft , Geld und jede Minute der Freizeit hineinzustecken und uns dann noch als Urlauber zu beherbergen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, bedanken uns auch für die Überraschungen und kommen bestimmt mit vielen Fragen wieder.

Sehr schönes Gutshaus mit Charme. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Wurden herzlich begrüßt und haben prima Ausflugstipps bekommen und sogar frische Eier :). Wir kommen gerne wieder.
