About this house rental
Small villa of 40 m2 renovated in 2015, not overlooked, located in a pine forest in the heart of the seaside resort but in a quiet residential area.
Sun terrace most of the day and lightly shaded under the pines.
Swimming pool (June 15-September 15) and deckchairs.
You can even hear the roar of lions in the distance (zoo 800 meters away).
Two bedrooms, travel cot, living room with sofa bed for 2 people, fitted kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, outside shed, washing machine.
Private parking space, cycle paths.
All activities and amenities are accessible on foot and ideally by bicycle (bicycle rental nearby).

Family of 3 with dog : The unit is tiny, but very efficient, and spotlessly clean. Nice/quiet location (before summer vacations), with parking spot right next to our unit. Kitchen fully equipped, but linen not provided, and no mosquito screens (so don't forget mosquito repellent). Owner was very friendly, and was available if needed (we had no trouble whatsoever). We brought our Aussie with us, with his park that fit easily in the family/dining room, 2 bedrooms upstairs (2+1 beds= sleeps 4) + sofa bed in family room (sleeps 2).
Nice terrace (not fully enclosed: opened on one side to parking lot), great for dining outside. Location is nice, close to La Palmyre Zoo (San Diego natives, we loved this zoo too!), villa well located when visiting La Rochelle, Île d'Oleron, Royan. We had a nice, and relaxing stay (unit next to ours was empty).
I recommend it.
