You’ll love Chez Mondy the perfect place to relax and unwind, with breath-taking views. Chez Mondy has been designed to include many features of the local area and is decorated and furnished well, and includes all the modern day facilities one would expect. Conservatory kitchen-diner, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave oven, hob, iron, ironing board. Washing machine housed in the boiler room. The conservatory kitchen dinner with satellite TV (UK only), Netflix English and French films. Free Wi-Fi. Bedroom 1. Double bed, en-suite comprising Shower, sink, Separate WC. Bedroom 2. Family room 1 Double bed, 2 Single bed, making a lovely family room if you are traveling with young children. en-suite comprising Shower, sink, separate WC. All towels, bed linen, tea towels and pool towels are included and provided free of charge. All rooms are accessed independent.
Chez Mondy has a patio aria front and gravelled area side with tables, chairs and a BQ where al fresco dining may be enjoyed.
The pool is 10m x 5m salt water system solar heated swimming pool and Hot tub. Shared only with our other gite Le Claud d'amour. The pool and 4 seated Hot tub will be yours to enjoy throughout your stay. The pool and Hot tub are set in a stunning location which enjoys almost 360 degree view, together with comfortable sun loungers, parasols.
(The swimming pool will be open from 8am till 22hrs during the season)
(The hot tub will be open from 8am till 22hrs all year round)
Activities in the nearby areas include Canoeing, Go-karting, St-Esteph beach, Country walks, Golf, Fishing, Cycling ( bikes are available ) , Antique hunting in the country markets.
Within a 30 to 60 minutes drive from the property are the splendid city of Brantôme, La Rochefoucaud, Perigueux, Limoge and the historic city of Angouleme, all with their own resplendent Cathedral, Château & Churches and wide variety of restaurants and night life are to be found in the area.
Ryan Air fly to Limoges and Bergerac. Bordeaux
Limoges airport is approximately a 1 hour Bergerac approximately a 1 hour 30 min Bordeaux approximately 2hrs drive to Chez Mondy. Car hire is available at the airport but normaly cheaper hired with your flight.
Train lovers, Angouleme has a TGV station with fast routes from London via Paris and Lille.
Or simply drive via Euro tunnel or by ferry.

Spent a fantastic week at Chez Mondy. Susan, the host was welcoming, friendly and had lots of advice. The property was exactly as we expected and with temperatures in the high 30’s the swimming pool got plenty of use.
Such a quiet and peaceful location, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Chez Mondy.

Rien à redire l endroit est très reposant avec piscine et jacuzzi. Le logement dispose de tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine (sel poivre liquide vaisselle etc) ainsi que les serviettes de toilettes/bain et draps. Gain de place dans nos valises. Les propriétaires sympathiques, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Merci beaucoup. A une prochaine. Cdlt

Warm welcome from the gîte owners; too short a stay for us but we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the environment, dip in the swimming pool as well as a relaxing moment in the jacuzzi.

What a find- rural perfection! Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break (wish we could have stayed longer) Sue a wonderful host went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful! Perfect location, hot tub , swimming pool & amazing views! Beautiful countryside with lots of interesting little villages & lakes to visit! Will definitely be back.
